I have all 3 versions. The EDP is the one that gets the most compliments. I wore it to work one day last week and within minutes of entering the building a lady said “you smell wonderful!” It has that wow factor. The Parfum is beautifully blended, though. It’s more dense and doesn’t project so far due to the higher concentration of perfume oil. It’s more of a subtle power flanker…classy, elegant and discreet. The current version of the EDT has been toned down a bit. Perhaps Chanel are trying to persuade customers to buy the EDP and Parfum versions!

I own all 3, the parfum version is by far the best of the three...its just too classy and elegant, but its a matter of tastes they're all great to be honest..if you can only afford one , maybe go for EDP then later gett another version until you decide which one smells on you best

The Parfum is good all year around. I use it also in the summer nights and colder summerdays. It just work really well on me.

Reviews By Cedric C it just used to be way more powerful. Maybe a bit of a difference in the smell but nothing really substantial. Main difference is the performance yes!

@@rezar6894 I wish I could’ve been more prompt to this second comment/question but oh well 😂😂. Bleu de Chanel is definitely more classy. I am a huge fierce fan... I think it’s awesome, but when talking about class, fierce misses the mark. Bleu de Chanel on the other hand is as classy as designer scents get. I’d say the only other designer fragrance that comes close, in my mind, to competing with Bleu de Chanel, when categorizing fragrances by class, is Dior Homme Parfum... and even then it’s not even close because Bleu de Chanel is much more versatile and mass appealing. If you are wearing Bleu De Chanel as more of an every day fragrance, I absolutely recommend the EDP. I don’t know your situation and how many fragrances you have, but I will say if you already have mass appealing fragrances and are looking for something to be as smooth, classy, and refined as it gets to supplement those... the Parfum may actually be your best bet. I have the EDP simply because it gives me the best of both worlds (the sharp and piercing qualities of the EDT and the smooth and rich qualities of the Parfum). I hope that helps. I’m thinking of also getting FIERCE intense Cologne, have you any experience with the intense version, there is also now a new Night version. Many reviews are saying Intense is very close to the old Fierce which is super long lasting and projecting but it gets a bit of hate due to price. Price aside, do you think it’s superior to the current Fierce Cologne scent? Thanks man, and hope all is well with you 👍

You’re right. The edt before reformulation was awesome in every way. Especially performance. Now it’s water. How they can do that to any fragrance and not note a reformulation on the box and charge more for it, is beyond me. Really sneaky tbh

As far as I am concerned, there has been no reformulation. If it has been, it is a very minimal difference. Still awesome based on what everyone is saying... maybe even exact.

EDT current formulation not mass appealing is a LIE. It has the best projection, the longest lasting and best value for price. If people can’t smell you with the EDT, I don’t know what you’re doing. EDP and Parfum has the same performance except Parfum smells better than the other two. Get EDT and Parfum, skip EDP altogether. Also, original formulation isn’t mass appealing either because it doesn’t exist.

I love the scent of the EDT so much, but yeah..the performance of it is bad. I used a moisturizing lotion recently, before applying the EDT and that actually helped the performance go from bad to average at least for me...which surprised me. I've sampled the EDP, and it seems close enough that I feel like I can move on from the EDT. I don't see myself going with the Parfum. I don't think I can bring myself to part with that grapefruit note.

@@anthonyalsante617 EDT you need to spray it about 12-15 times to feel like you are wearing anything lol..luckily I live in Florida where the heat brings out the most life from it, but still, it isn't very strong at all. I should be choking people out, with that many sprays and I dont even come close.

I tested all three and think that the edp is the best, but bought the edt just because there isnt a huge difference between them and I got the edt much cheaper. So for me the edt has the best price value

Luther T the Parfum is going to be smoothers, a little more deep and dark. The edp is going to be brighter and sharper.

Dude what are you talking about. Every major reviewer especially Gent Scents (whom i trust) says the parfum is literally the most versatile out of the 3. It actually smells the best.

Parfum is deeper and does not have the fresh brightness of the other two. Therefore, I do not believe it is the most versatile. All of the Bleu de Chanel’s are like Swiss Army knives and can be worn anywhere at any time. This is just my humble opinion. I trust gents scents as well. My best advice would be to test them for yourself!
