this song shows off mostly some terrific screams, and raw emotion. The thing about Ado is those are 2 tools in her toolkit of 30. She doesn't only sing in this genre, she sings in every single genre. Her performance of Aishite aishite aishite live was similar to this one, but all of her live perfomances are amazing.

Ado is one of the few artist that don't get stuck in just one genre. She is the closest to a stage musical performer. Usually, the studio version of Ado's songs are much more 'refined' and 'contained' while her live versions are way more intense, emotional and overall 'unhinged'. Please watch the song with lyrics and translation. All of the highs, lows and screams in her vocals are all placed in areas fitting to the lyrics and the story, its insane. You can feel the story without the lyrics, but you'll live through the story when you know the lyrics as well. Ado as usual, storytelling with genius voice play. Here are the songs I recommend. Welcome to the Ado Zone. LIVE: Aishite Aishite Aishite, Usseewa, ODO, SHOW. Cover: Crime And Punishment, Overdose, Godish, Loveka. One Piece Film Red: New Genesis, I'm Invincible, Backlight, Fleeting Lullaby, The World's Continuation, Tot Musica, Where the Wind Blows.

Whoever hears Ado will never be able to forget. Believe it or not, she is only 21 years old. But she is incredibly famous, she just returned from a successful world tour (she was in Dusseldorf, by the way). And she doesn't show herself, she's always in the shadows, and Ado is a pseudonym. For now, she values freedom more than fame.

Ado is a goddess. Or demon. Or a child. Sometimes all in one song. She is whatever she wants to be, while performing. Especially live. Here are some other songs that are just amazing: Aishite Aishite Aishite (Live), Tot Musica (either version), Crime and Punishment, Usseewa (studio, live, piano version), and I could just list here songs all day. From balads like World Continuation, to Metal (Blacklight) or even hip-hop-ish (Fleeting Lullaby), she is doing whatever she wants, in the best way possible. Regarding this song, is a cover of an anime opening, by TK. Here are some lyrics: I'm standing alone in this world that keeps on changing But hiding away, my true self is fading! Oh, won't you tell me Won't you tell me This thing I've come to be? The monster that you see Is it a part of me? I'm breaking down and shaking 'round in This world so helplessly But you just laugh and grin Completely blind within ..... I hope you give up There's nothing left to see No, don't look at me I'm trapped within this world that someone planned out for us Before our fate and future starts crumbling back to dust I'm begging you, please, just to remember me As clear as I used to be

Ado just completed a world tour that sold out very quickly. I happened to be at her Los Angeles show and you had to lock your cell phones into a bag. The live song from that show in LA is on KZbin, “Aishite, Aishite, Aishite” it is an amazing unforgettable performance and it was #5 in her set of 21 songs. It is the theme song of an anime "Tokyo Ghoul" about the fear and despair of a man who loses his humanity and becomes a monster after being transplanted with the organs of a monster in an accident. The way she sings the "don't forget" part of the song can be interpreted as expressing its "human" and "monster" selves through her voice color. The vocal tones change in a certain pattern, but gradually they become mixed in an irregular manner. This expresses the chaos of losing one's self.

Ado does indeed perform in a "cage" that is generally referred to as the Ado Box. Very few people actually have seen Ado's face - she prefers not to be seen in person, and her shows are generally designed around this in a way where you can see her, but not fully see her, so that she can retain some anonymity. Some say it's due to self esteem issues, or stage fright. I don't know the true reason, but it makes for an amazing show!

This song is from the Anime Tokyo Ghoul and her voice suits it so much. Since the anime is about a Boy that got turned into a ghoul and wants to keep his sanity by not eating humans but to save his friends and the world he has become stronger and only human flesh can make him stronger. The anime is poetic and dark and has a mix of good and evil just like ado’s voice

I wish people who recommended these songs provided the context for them: here, this is actually a cover of an original song by an artist called TK, and it's most famous for its use in the anime Tokyo Ghoul. It's also worth noting that Ado doesn't really write the material she performs in general, she "merely" sings it - albeit very well. It's not just that failing to mention it gives reactors bad information or faulty assumptions. Providing the context, on top of obviously giving the original artists and composers proper credit (like I don't even prefer the original version to this one, but it's just basic respect), also enables one to better grasp what the song is actually about, and in my opinion elevates the experience. For instance, in the case of Unravel, while it's cool to see people perceive some of the themes without knowing the content of the song, it's honestly a much more complete picture when one knows about the original song and its usage in Tokyo Ghoul, and how it relates to this, because there's an internal struggle between "monster" and "human", between insanity and stability, between loneliness and sociability, that one doesn't necessarily grasp just from hearing it context-less. And having that fuller image provides - again, in my opinion - an even more emotional experience since you can understand the direction and intention that the feelings are _consciously designed to achieve_ in her performance, and not just the way that they're expressed. Also, Ado's studio version of this and the original by TK, while they're in my view blown out of the water by this one, are worth listening to at least once, if only to compare some of the original intents here.
