Brilliant. I guess I was about your age when I was buying mix tapes in Camden and going crazy over them. Now you teach me how to create them. 🤜🤛

Wtf!? this boy is a legend, he's doing what we did in octamed in 1994 when he must have been a baby? 🍼... But he's keeping the flame alive with Polyend Making the music that us old bastards made bitd. Why can't my kids do this?

I started out on tracker daws back in the mid to late 90s with ScreamTracker and ImpulseTracker before switching over to Renoise when it came out, and thank the Gods that it did!! But I've always wanted something like the Akai MPC but with the tracker workflow and thankfully PolyEnd had the same idea! I just snatched up one of these used for cheap. Just the regular version. I bought the Tracker+ when it first came out but I was like, why am I paying extra for synths when I've already got those sounds right in front of me on my modular rack waiting to be sampled by the Tracker? But the lure of a hardware tracker was too hard to resist so here I am again! There's no better workflow for these kinds of chopped up jungle and break beats! Trackers are also great for linear drumming, where no two drum sounds are played at the same time. Aphex Twin shit!

I've found a way to get ableton-like clip mode by building variations of instrument patterns in one pattern but on different tracks. Then you can go into song mode to arrange by copying tracks from the pattern bank you built earlier.
@BlezzBeats2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like the shit! Would love to see that in action. That's definitely a drawback when you experiment making different patterns and end up having to copy-paste alot

Hey dude great video, I do have a question I have a maschine mk3 and just want to create old skool jungle, would you choose the poly end over the maschine. I also have Ableton to complete tracks.
@BlezzBeats2 жыл бұрын
Maschine, dead easy pick
@remy53562 жыл бұрын
How did you make that pad sound? Is that with the slide up step fx or in the sample?
@substance906 ай бұрын
How do you like the workflow compared to the Maschine+? Besides the meh sequencer I find the Maschine incredibly quick to work on. Faster than on Push in fact.

I still don't know how to get audio from my tracker to ableton, I don't have many cables and I've never used hardware to make music. Feel super dumb with this stuff 😭
@jasontarner12272 жыл бұрын
You need an audio interface. If your computer has FireWire or usb-c there are a ton of interfaces on the market and used market but you will need one to transfer audio and midi back and forth between your pc and equipment…
@qu0ne Жыл бұрын
You can bounce to the SD card and put the card into your computer to transfer the stems.
