BLFX Animation Editor - Foundry VTT Module

The Boss Loot FX Animation Editor allows you to add animations to anything and is compatible with DnD 5e v4, v3, and PF2e. You might be wondering what sets it apart from Automated Animations (AA). This module features an 'Animation Script' section that autocompletes based on your selections in the 'Animation Configuration' settings. If you’re a macro guru, you can further customize by modifying the macro here.
In DnD 5e v4, you can assign separate animations to different activities. For example, you can have an item with five distinct activities, each with its own unique animation. This is perfect for homebrew items and abilities, and it works seamlessly with both BLFX and JB2A assets.

Looks very promising! However for me still lacks two must-haves from A-A - auto recognition and an option to add sounds to activities. If you have a lot of custom content, and previously relied on A-A, you'd need to manually recreate every item/spell/effect per every instance ;/

Automatically deleting the template after the animation finishes is great, but having an option to not have the template appear during the animations like AA does is needed imo. Without that I cant see myself moving over to this since all the beautiful animations are covered by the horrendous template blobs.

Can a player change the animation or only the GM can do it?

Yes, there’s a setting that allows the GM to enable the editor for players.

You will be able to use the content you downloaded without an active subscription, but you will not receive updates with new feature and animations.
