So many people make a passable attempt but your playing is so clear and you have that lovely bounce most people never get with Blake's stuff. In fact you make it sound within reason to have another go at this incredible tune. Thanks.

I heard many years ago that if you can play a Blake tune, you can play anything. You nailed this one in spades.

Awesome. I don't think anyone who hasn't attempted playing something like this can fully appreciate the astounding difficulty of learning it, and even more difficult, making it smooth, and making it look easy. Bravo!

Thank you. I wish I could say this one came easy.

That was one funky tune! Incredible! We may not have lived during a time to watch Blind Blake perform, but I feel fortunate to live during a time that we can view this via You Tube and have access to the transcriptions by the click of the button. Perhaps we are living during the golden age of guitar right now? When else could you access a perfect transcription of this song so easily? Thank you Andy Lardner for doing this.

Very good, I’m learning this piece myself. This is an absolutely insane record and Blake showed nerves of steel while recording. Unbelievably inspiring that someone like Blake can still be so influential despite coming from an extremely difficult time for black people let alone being blind on top of that. Which in a ironic way, was somehow the most ideal conditions to reach his peak playing abilities. The first person I talk to when I go to heaven is definitely Blake, such a mystery surrounds him.

See I have a left hand, a right hand and a guitar but when I combine those three things Blind Blake music doesn't come out :(

I agree. I tried buying a second guitar, but that didn't work. Don't know how to attach more hands.

Outside of Mr Blake himself, I also thought of Ton van Bergeyk. Tippity top. Look at the left hand and think, "ok, not too bad". Look at the right hand and think, "oh?"

Man that was one beautiful finger dance! Thanks for the inspiration. Now that I’ve got my Travis picking down I think I’m ready to graduate to trying to tackle Blind Blake thumb picking. What was the first of his you learned besides West Coast?

Thank you Gus. West Coast Blues was the first, this was the second.
