Agree with you on Frozen here RD. One of my all time favorite Disney films. Third to be exact. To me only Hunchback of Notre Dame and Nightmare Before Christmas are better. As much as I love Disney...a lot of older films are dragged down by horrible "love at first sight" garbage. Instead we got a wonderful and MUCH more endearing story about two sisters who want nothing more than to reconnect with each other, and one fears doing so after a traumatic experience. Elsa wants to be friends with her sister again, but fear that she might end up hurting her. Both of the girls make mistakes, but they come off as just that, mistakes (unlike those malicious actions of that douchebag mermaid Ariel). Top it off with one of the best Disney soundtracks, a lovable cast of characters, and am willing to call Elsa THE best character Disney has ever made, due to her complex nature, and goals, and to me, one of the best female characters of all time alongside Usagi Tsukino. Don't be afraid of who you are. Love at first sight is bullshit. Family is better than romance. Don't rush into a relationship or blindly trust someone. Those are just a few of the great lessons the film provides. Plus it's not some stupid kiss they have save the day! Instead, it's the love between two sisters, and the act of love is giving up what you want for the sake of others. That is MUCH more endearing than a stupid romance story. Throw in one of Disney' best comic relief characters. To me Disney's 10 best are: 10. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves 9. Lilo and Stitch 8. Wreck It Ralph 7. Tangled 6. Big Hero 6 5. Mulan 4. Lion King 3. Frozen 2. Nightmare Before Christmas 1. Hunchback of Notre Dame If you're curious as to what I would say are the three worst. There is no doubt here. Chicken Little, Cinderella, and ESPECIALLY Little Mermaid are the ones I would say are their worst. To me I don't care if it's popular or widely hated. I don't care if it came out now or in the 90s. All I care about is if it's good. Sometimes, I am ashamed to have been born in the 90s because of how pretentious so many of my fellow 90s kids act. They think that everything from the 90s is perfect and everything nowaday is trash. God I hate people like that. First off, the 90s had the worst english dub of all time due to that horrible dub of Sailor Moon DiC put out. Good thing a few years ago we got a redub thanks to Viz and man is it alot better. THis decade has seen great shows and bad shows, much like the 90s. There are good shows from both decades. the 90s have Darkwing Duck, and the original Japanese version of the classic Sailor Moon anime, and Dragon Ball Z. This decade has great shows like Steven Universe, RWBY, Lion Guard. and We Bare Bears, just to name a few. However both have their share of bad ones. The 90s had Ren and Stimpy as well as Mega Babies. Nowaday we have horrid shows like Family Guy and Teen Titans Go! Both decades are good overall, and have ups and downs. But to judge a film based on if it came out in the 90s or in modern day is a horrible reason to not like something.
