Hello!! If you've just seen this video, you must be either greatly moved or greatly confused-but thank you for watching anyhow! To provide some extra context for those of you who may have cringed just as hard as I did re-watching this years later: this was my first, semi-formal video production, and I was 14 at the time. I had never taken any formal classes in filmmaking, and the story was derived from an extremely vague 'motivational short story' post I'd found on the internet. I am very aware of the lack of research that was done for this project, therefore the number of views this has gained despite all that is baffling. While I now realise there are severe logical flaws in the script and in the plot, please accept this video as is-an amateur product of a teenage passion for story-telling. Thank you!

So, let me get this straight. So he wasn't blind at first, and when she went to the doctors, she wasn't blind anymore. She thought that he lied to her about him not being blind. But, he didn't. When he put that note in her locker saying, "Sorry that things didn't work out. Just take care of my eyes for me" it meant that his eyes need to be taken care of. By who? Not him, her, because she has his eyes now.

I am blind. I clicked this video, and was so disappointed. She was so maan to her mom and to everyone else. That is not how she should've handled things. Blindness is a blessing. It lets you see the world in a different way. I have never had sight, and I don't want it. Being blind gives me the opportunity to show others that disabilities can't top a person from living a happy, meaningful and successful life.

To everybody saying that the girl was a bitch for being angry at him, here's what I think happened when she got eyesight she saw Jason and she thought tht he was blind all this time and was lying to her all this time at this point she didn't know that He had given her her his eyes so she ran of and was angry and then when she saw the letter in the locker and read it she realised finally he had given her his eyes and that's why she was shocked and obviously feeling regret from what she did, to clear it up for everybody. I watched this when I was younger and it took me years to grasp the ending and now I can explain it .. When she had the ability to see him she only saw him as a vessel not as the person who’s stood beside her and basically cared for her no matter what but even without his sight he saw her as a whole but with her new found sight she allowed vision to change her complete outlook on him and going so far as leaving him just to find out he made the ultimate sacrifice just to be with her and love her yet she declined his love leaving him completely yet he gave her something so precious to her and that being his eyes not just his eyes but the ability to see hoping she’d be happy but she wasn’t this film taught me you could nurture and heal someone for ever but as soon as they gain from it and see your flaws there quick to leave you broken in the same way they once where.

I have a uncle who lives in Winnipeg and he is married to a blind woman when I was young I always asked my mom and uncle why she wore shades and had a stick then they told me she's blind I didn't understand at first but as I got older I finally got it in my head and it made sad but happy for both of them.

I get why she was angry at him. To most people it would make no sense but he lied to her. And never told her he was "blind". Then she finds out that he wasn't blind and had given up his eyes for her. Which made her break down.

This is so cringy and inaccurate. An eye transplant is not be possible from a donor who is still alive. Only the cornea can be transplanted, whereas the optic nerve (which is usually the cause of blindness) cannot be transplanted. They should really do research into things before creating a short movie about things they are not educated on.

glasses doesn't fix being blind unless you're not totally blind then it can only fix it to a point before you need eye surgery or aren't legally blind depending on when your eyes stabilize XD
