2012 was Blind Guardian's 25th anniversary. One way to celebrate this special occasion was the release of "Memories of a Time to Come" in January 2012.
Leading up to the release, Guardian TV was introduced. The first episode features the whole band taking questions from Facebook fans.
Clocking in at 5 minutes and 46 seconds, episode 1 of Guardian TV answers the following questions:
1. How did you decide on which songs to re-record for "Memories of a Time to Come"?
2. Have you ever thought about new live-playable versions of songs like "Battlefield"?
3. What do you think about another Blind Guardian-festival?
4. Is there any concert or event that is the most memorable after 25 years?

Good to know the 70k tons of Metal was remarkable for them too, because for me, it was absolutely UNFORGETABLE!!! And I have no shame to admit, I cried like hell, as well as sang the songs on both show on-board. But the best was to be able to talk with them and take pictures and watch other shows just beside them. Awesome!!! GUARDIAN RUUUUUULEEEEEESSSS!!!!

And "A Night Of The Opera"(2002) it seems to me one of the best albums of BG, was the last studio album made with Thomen on the drum and for me Thomen put his heart and soul to do this one of the best album in their career, it's a pity that he's not in BG and so the life goes on for each one, Frederik is a great drummer, Frederik occupy the seat of Thomen and this mean too much for us like BG's fans, and the "Imaginations Through The Looking Glass"(2004) DVD Live was the end of a Era with Thomen

Its not their English, which is perfectly fine by the way, it is their German accent. I believe they can pull off an American/British accent, at least Hansi, André and Marcus can (as seen by their vocal delivery), but they choose not to use it while speaking. It is quite normal, people all over the world do it.
