I appreciate Syd and Rae discussing aphantasia. It is crazy how you don't realize it is a thing until...someone says something about it. I realized that I have it...after hearing Syd and Scarra mention it while assembling a tent in an OfflineTV camping video. That video changed my life. After taking the apple test and star test, I spent the whole night reevaluating aspects of my life. Without me even knowing it, aphantasia impacted how I studied in school, my career choices as an adult, which books I read, how I navigate, and countless other aspects of my every day life.

I think I have Aphantasia. I can't visualize things. If I need to remember something like if I need to find a guest at my job, I need to make a little note in my head about what they where wearing or how they looked. Like if they had a hat on and what was on the had, facial hair, and so forth. This makes so much more sense. I need to make little notes in my head about things to remember what and where something or someone is. But I don't think that means we don't have dreams. I still dream. I use to think when people asked you to visualize things, no one actually saw what they where "visualizing" in their heads.
