@@CarolWeeks-kb8lc your story is really something that all people in the blind community should hear. Because this actually, lets them know. About how you lost your site. Because you know, with the incident that you had, when I heard it, I was like, this is not good. Like, everything that happened to you. But you’re still here today! I’m telling you, I hope everyone in the blind community here’s your story.❤

This is a great show! I have a podcast called The Blind Duo which explores different ways of how we do the same thing as a sighted person but in a different in a different way or perspective.

Good afternoon this is Dylan mcCleary I am a 2023 governor Morehead school. I’ve been following Skyler Jarvis media for the last couple months now and I want to say to you Carol that you or your parents made a big mistake by going to public school and I’m not trying to be mad with you or anything like that and nature, but public school at least regular School does not have the right support system for you nor or as good accommodations as let’s say Governor Morehead, South Carolina school for the death and the blind or Florida school for the blind And to be quite honest with you, I had so much of a better experience at Governor Morehead school Versus regular public school The teachers there were trained to help people who were blind visually impaired

Oh, OK because I thought Hadley was just somewhere to go for workshops relating to visual impairment, but I think I was wrong and I didn’t know you could get a high school diploma through that program
