Andre Pettipas well not really a solo but I like that little solo type riff u played right before I went back into the D. Hey, when u play the G and u slide Ur finger up to fifth fret. Try doing that but keep Ur g chord fingers in place , so Ur pinky and index finger are on 5th fret and u are still In a g chord formation. Then back to g. Ur basically doing that but try it that way with a slide up to it. If u do it right Ull love how that sounds. Anyway good cover
