The juxtaposition between the upbeat happy melody and the melancholy lyrics about depress really makes this song a true work of art.

This is an amazing song about crippling depression and being far away from your loved ones or friends as people that can help you. It's a fantastic display of how someone tries to put on a happy appearance while their tormented inside. I don't know what it is about songs where the point is depression, but they're always my favorite ones.

It's the idea of likeing something morbid, you know it's moraly questionable, yet we find them the most intriguing. It's easy to write a happy song, but sad songs take care, love and precision, usuly a feeling the artist has felt before.

How ironic, coming from someone who suffered from depression for most of my adult life 😕. Little Children, listen: can you hear it, coming as from afar? Time is running out. Turn back! Seek balm for your eyes, ears, hearts and minds. It is the Word of God, Jesus is the Messiah, turn to Him only for your salvation! Learn to love, sisters and brethren, you who are near and you who are far; listen and pay attention? I asked myself, where is Wisdom? (Job 28 , John 1:1, John 3:16-17) Hear what I'm telling you, Ezekiel 37:14-15. Awake, awake all you Hungry, all you Thirsty, seek Salvation unto your souls and be reconciled to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Son of the Most High and -only- God! Thanks for listening to someone like you, little children.

I remember hearing this song on a blank cd I had found in my uncles truck one time. I must've been about 7 years old. I always skipped it for some reason. I ended up losing the cd somehow at one point some time after that but Id always catch myself humming the guitar melody on the intro every once in a while. To the point that I had to find out what it was called. I didn't know the lyrics though due to me always skipping the song before it got to the 10 sec mark. Anyways, about a couple years ago I was working nightshift at a gas station and it came on the radio. I pulled out shazam and felt very satisfied at finally figuring out the name of this song.
