As a legally blind person I'd do anything to get my vision back. I suffer from a genetic eye disease that causes vision loss and there is no cure for it, however there is stem cell gene therapy that can restore vision but it's not approved yet. My eye disease has taken so much from me and it's nice to hear that people like me won't have a miserable future.

So like before I was born my dog got deaf and she was the best dog ever. She still acted like she could here. But in 2019 she got sick and very ill. So we took her to the vet and the doctor said she's to skinny so she needs to eat. So we brought her home and tryed making her eat to make her not that skinny then she wouldn't eat. So we had to put her down and I was really sad. :this message is for u honey/my dog: u where the best dog in the world u had fun and played with your bro and u always where a playful dog. U would always lay with me when I was sad. PS R.I.P. honey.

How did that color blind guy know what orange, purple, and yellow looked like??? I doubt it's full color vision, so I'm guessing the difference between the colors was just more apparent? So instead of seeing yellow how we see yellow, he was just able to tell that it was closer to shades of yellow he had seen.

It’s because people probably told him what the actual colors were so he knew if he was seeing orange or whatever that he was seeing yellow. So when he actually sees yellow he knows it’s yellow and not another color!

you would think so as we have had sight since birth so we take it for granted. when you have been blind since birth usually getting all kinds of info from your hands, ears, and nose which act as eyes. and now a rush of info comes from somewhere that was never used it does kind of have an overwhelming feel to it
