An interesting point of some of the music that comes in later on, and this is only explicitly seen in “roar of the jungle dragon”, is that they almost feel like the boss theme is not for the boss, but rather for the player who is fighting the boss. The roles reverse somewhere, the whole thing of “im not stuck in here with you, you’re stuck in here with me” type of deal. I find it interesting.

Yharon and supreme cal are well known for their role reversal wit what you're saying! Yharon starts directly talking to Yharim about how the terrararian is much too strong for him to defeat. Cal's theme has a tonal shift to defeated sounding notes near the end of her fight. Honestly CANNOT wait for when the Yharim fight is released, gonna be great!

In Yharon's theme canonically the singing is Yharon talking to Yharim about the player. If you look at the lyrics you'll understand what it is about.

Wow I didn't expect you to react to Calamity Ost but it was fun to watch :) And as you can see this ost was made about 6 years ago, so let's say a lot has changed, new bosses, new sprites (most of the sprites you've seen have been changed or are still being created, one boss had like 10 sprite changes and has next one planned), one boss was removed later added to another mod, and there are additions to Calamity that change the music or the "Infernum" expansion that changes literally everything..... In short a lot has changed :D

Yeah the ost is really good, I didn’t expect much from this mod when I first started playing it but clearly there has been a lot of effort and care put into this. I’m having so much fun with it!

9.3/10 Naturally DM Dokuro's Magnum Opus got the highest score, or at least one of the candidates. There were actually 2 themes that were missed due to how the OST is presented: Siren's War Cry and Servants of the Scourge: Type D. The former is only available in an extended cut on youtube, or on Dokuro's Bandcamp as the middle part of the Leviathan Trilogy. The latter is unused in the actual game, but is a part of the other candidate for his Magnus Opus: Devourer of Gods: Non-stop Mix, which I think is only available on Dokuro's youtube channel. If you thought Scourge of the Universe was top-tier on its own, wait until you hear the complete version properly stitched together.

Thanks for the feedback, I tried to only add parts where I was somewhat reacting (a lot of what was cut was me just staring at the screen), that way I thought the video would be more interesting. I’ve still got a lot to learn and am trying to improve, I’m still new to this stuff. Thanks :)

I would say voice your opinion more, talk about what you're thinking. Wanna know what people are looking for from a reaction video? personality and opinion. From other videos I've heard that what helps producing higher quality content is to get in the zone. Focus on what you're producing, try to cut out anything on your mind for the moment whenever you hit that record button. If you aren't fully engaged in the content you're producing people can see it. Hi, just found your channel. Just curious, in "servants of the scourge", each servant has its own laitmotive. Which servants theme do you like the most? My personal favorite is Signus's. They are similar to mech bosses in the way that you fight them all at the same stage of progression.
