Not sure if you realized later in the video, but A class isn't on the island. The annual trip is typically reserved for A class, but E-Class stole it as their reward for beating the big 5 in the exams. So A class lost the trip this year. That why in the last batch of episodes, after they revealed that E class was going to the island, there was a short scene of the big 5 shrugging off losing the trip while the rest of a class was pissed off about it.

Fun little detail, you know the animal in the foreground at the end of the beetle segment? That's a Japanese River Otter, once widespread in the country but now considered extinct. It received that classification the year before this chapter of the manga was published, and the manga actually goes out of its way to highlight its presence in the scene. The unexpected rewards of nature, you never know what rare sights you may encounter!

Actually, I'm pretty sure DC copied the Holmes quote verbatim, on account of him being a huge fan of Arthur Conan Doyle. The altered quote might be a translation mistake? I don't remember ever hearing him say it the way you wrote, but then again, it's been a while since I watched the show :/

Wow, was just a honest opinion, I wasn't even hateful. I find myself really open to anime, this just didn't so it for me. Examples of some of my favorite animes. Kaguya-sama, toradora, re zero, FMAB, promised neverland, steins gate, gurrren Lagann, madoka magica, code geass. I don't think my taste is trash especially because all of those are highly rated and praised.
