@squeebers a redemption shouldn't be about "and his sins were absolved in the eyes of the lord" (substitute lord with canon/characters/audience/etc), redemption in a story is about acknowledging where and how you were wrong, resolving to do better, and then actually sticking to the commitment. It's also not a linear process. Sometimes you'll resolve to be less of a jerk and still end up being a jerk sometimes. It's about not giving up even when you hit a setback. Idk this might be too deep for a comment I made 3 years ago about freaking angel bunny but I got a lot of thoughts about redemption

@tomsparrow1823 Yeah but did Angel become a better person, Bunny, pony? I don't think so. Sure, he and Fluttershy understand one another better, but will Amgel take this knowledge and understanding and treat Fluttershy better? The answer is maybe. And I still don't like him.

This episode felt a lot similar to "A Royal Problem" because you know just like Celestia and Luna did, Fluttershy and Angel had to walk a mile in each others shoes in order to find out which of their lives was hardest.

Probably panic. Laying aside the issues of waking up to find I'd become a female pegasus with probably some very nasty cutie mark conflict and no idea how to use my hooves/wings/mouth to manipulate things it'd mean she was in my body, alone, in a world that''s much harsher than Equestria if less generally deadly. Once the panicking is done I'd be yelling for Discord in the hopes he can go fetch her/me/him?

What happened between Angel and Fluttershy was almost an example of real shapeshifting except in real shapeshifting creatures don't switch bodies they just shift their awareness into the others body hopefully with the others permission to do it against the others will is not cool.
