Awesome! I've been waiting for this. This was such a interesting episode, I loved seeing inside Angel's head and why he acts the way he does, and you know what? The way he is, makes sense. I mean think about it, he's pretty sentient, he's very aware, and yet can't really speak to anyone except for Fluttershy. Before Fluttershy's big character development, she was a huge doormat, but at the same time, she only had him to care about, and now she has the animal sanctuary as well as the school she's teaching at. So now it's harder for him to be able to talk to anyone, because he can't, except for Fluttershy. So yeah, I really loved this episode a lot.

Yes, she does. I choose to believe it's completely canon. Besides one of the Mane 6 needs to be in a relationship. I mean 4 of the HuMane 7 from EQG are basically in relationships so it's finally time at least one of the Mane 6 from MLP gets one.

ZexalBrony479 I think it's more of a tease for the fans. Angel could have either been saying something that Fluttershy has told him privately or just his perception on their relationship. If he wanted to use that as a way to get somepony to believe it was her, he wouldn't say something that was a secret. He probably just said what he thought everypony else suspected too. But that doesn't eliminate the possibility that it might become canon later on. But so far, we know they aren't in that kind of relationship at the moment. Just that they might be later.

Not that I don't love the EQ Girls, but I really don't like that they're getting all the relationships while the Mane 6 got nothin.

It’s cool that we have another Freaky Friday episode, only with Flutters and Angel. This scenario was a good way for the two of them to patch up the friction between themselves and come to a mutual respect for one another. I thought that this was a fun and interesting episode overall. Another great reaction!

This isn't really "another" one. A Royal Problem wasn't swapping bodies, just jobs. And Magical Mystery Cure changed their memories as well, so it doesn't really fit either. So this is the first Freaky Friday episode.

*She talks to Angel* This episode really connected with me. It might be my favorite episode ever. But over the pass few days, my opinion has changed. I was on both sides of the conflict, but now that I really think about it, Angel is more in the right, and Fluttershy is more in the wrong. Let me start with Angel. This episode made rethink Angel's character. Quite a lot. Now I know some of you hate him and want to take Fluttershy's side because of that but think about this. He's forced to share Fluttershy with a bunch of other animals even before the sanctuary was built. He was lonely and was deliberately being neglected by her. He feels like these other animals are more important then him, and that's frustrating and heartbreaking to think about. Sharing Fluttershy with a few animals was fine. but now he has to share a whole sanctuary of them. Fluttershy was being so ignorant toward him, and that's not fair to the little guy. He's an animal that Fluttershy has to take care of too. He's Fluttershy's pet. Main pet in fact (maybe). He's going to want her attention like the other animals. I feel like him acting out is a reaction to the neglect. Now this doesn't make him abusing/antagonizing Futtershy OK by any means, but I can see where it's coming from now. (Wait... is that why he's such a little jerk all the time?) And when he was doing a poor job of taking care of the other animals, honestly, I can't get mad at him for that. Because It was out disinterest of course, but also out of resentment for the other animals for "taking" Fluttershy away from him. And when he said "now you know what it's like not to get the level of attention to which you've become accustomed", I... I really felt that. Just a punch to the heart. I'm really siding with Angel. I've been there. I'm still there. I know what it's like to have to share someone with so many other people. I know what it's like not being able to talk to the only person who really understands you, being ignored for other people. And I especially know how it feels being neglected. Neglect is a lot of things. It's annoying, it's disheartening, it's infuriating, etc. So yeah. I totally see why Angel is such a little jerk all the time. And Now on to Fluttershy Yeah, I'm sorry. The gloves are coming off. Fluttershy made me angry here. She was such a freaking butt hole in this episode. Now I understand that c, but dear god, I was so mad at her. She was continuously oblivious to the fact that she was neglecting Angel, and even *FLAT OUT* said "I think somebunny wants a little attention." and she does nothing about it. Is she THAT blunt?! And hen she says things like, "Listen to you for once? Just what exactly is that supposed to mean?!" and "Well, I feel like you don't care about my responsibilities." (Yeah. It's always about *YOU,* isn't it?) Okay, you know what? Buck you, Fluttershy! Buck you to heck and back! You do know that neglect is a form of abuse, right? Why did you wait till you where just about to become my favorite to make me angry?! "the animals won't get the care they need". WHAT ABOUT ANGEL, YOU BUTT CLOWN?! I hate this! YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST IN THIS EPISODE!!! But at the same time, Futtershy isn't *completely* in the wrong ether. She's just doing here job. She wasn't trying to ignore Angel, and that's just what ended up happening because she was so busy. She really did get what it was like being a bunny. When she was trying to talk to Twilight and Spike but they couldn't understand her, trying to get to Zicora but almost got killed, and who knows what happened trying to come back. I hate saying all of that about Flutters, but I feel like it needed to be said. And sense she learned her lesson, I can forgive her. (Unlike Twilight. who I can't forgive) though she made me so angry, that might take a while. I need a bit to cool off about that. Overall This was a really well done episode, and this kind of undoes the damage of all the times Angel was a jerk for me at least. I feel like this body swap needed to happen. Aside from Fluttershy's attitude witch is the only part of the episode that I really hated, I really liked this episode. It dethroned "Sparkle's 7" as my favorite episode of the season. And hopefully Angel will be a little less of a jerk after this, And Fluttershy's is not that neglectful again. 9/10 4.5/5

I also think Angel is smarter than most animals and bunnies so has a hard time relating to them but he can't talk to other ponies. This makes him solely dependent on the only living being that is both of the same mental facilities as him but can also understand him. Fluttershy

Fluttershy was mostly in the right to ignore Angel all those times. He was acting out to get attention for pointless and selfish reasons (like wanting the carrot juice), while Fluttershy was trying to get on with her job (of keeping the other animals alive). Angel could have handled things a lot better, even if he felt neglected. On the other hand, we don't really know their relative ages, and acting out like he did is fairly typical for a young child, so maybe he just hasn't matured yet. He is at least showing signs of it towards the end.

@@Mirality Well the mane 6 are in their 20's and Fluttershy got angel as a baby bunny when she was a teenager in "Cutie mark chronicles" so he would definitely be an adult.

I definitely agree with you! I believe that Fluttershy was using her chores as an excuse. I'm more on Angel's side. Angel is more like a jealous boyfriend that's trying to get the girl's attention, Fluttershy. Fluttershy is more like, "Work is so important, I can't spend time with the one who truly cares about me", Angel. In reality, your deepest friend who follows you around and wants to be with you is a whole lot better than worrying about a simple to-do list. She could've made special time for Angel.

Rarity's appearance I believe is to be set at the next episode if I'm not wrong, but at the very least rarity got her spotlight season at season 5 with 3 consecutive, AMAZING episodes featuring her at her best portrayal. I guess the lack of rarity in other seasona is to balance out, and in this case I see Fluttershy being one of the characters who were sidelined as of late until this final season

I've always liked Angel. Honestly he's a lot like my bunny, very affectionate when he's not being a stroppy little nuisance. Only difference is Angel can understand complex language and he doesn't pee all over the floor when he's upset with Fluttershy.

You did the SAME FREAKING THING with "A flurry of emotions" where the neglect was pretty obvious, but the person that was being neglected was "being needy". Really?! I know it's just your opinion, but for the love of.... WHY?! every single reactor I watched for this episode took Fluttershy's side just because they didn't like Angel. I know that's why because that's how this fandom is! Fluttershy was a freaking butt hat in this episode. No no no, I'll argue this point. This Episode Sucks, and the Plot is Forced, cause ANGEL HAS NOTHING TO BE MAD ABOUT! The ENTIRE Core Concept, and Conflict, of this Episode. Is that Angel doesn't have any other PONY To talk to. He can talk to ANY other animal, just not a PONY. And THAT is the core conflict. He wants 'Attention' from Fluttershy, but ONLY cause she's the only 'Pony' he can talk to. He can literally talk with any othe animal in the entire forest! Including any other female bunnies and get to dating! No, this entire conflict, is because of Angel not getting his way. It doesn't matter about any other Negatives, such as Fluttershy working her hard, which this episode solves, because the entire episode shouldn't have even been a thing! They even have Fluttershy still having the stare, and as Angel says 'Forces him to stick to the episode's Plot against his will'. The plot and conflict and solution are HEAVILY Forced to work and happen. Worse yet is Zecora's Freaky Friday solution. Something, don't forget, WE'VE ALREADY SEEN! Not full on Body Switching, but with Celestia and Luna switching roles to see how the other feels. Meanwhile, this episode could have been solved in MANY other ways. Such as, oh I don't know, having a Foal want to help because she likes the animals, but Angel constantly gives her problems, cause he only wants Fluttershy around and doesn't like strangers like her. But over time, she learns his 'Sign Language', till she gets a Cutie Mark for animal caring and if not the ability to TALK to animals, at least to UNDERSTAND their wants, needs, and how to care for them. And thus she befriend's Angel and joins the Sanctuary to help Fluttershy, taking part of the chores that are more easier to do, like Feeding them and so on, while being Fluttershy and the Vet Pony's (when she comes by) part time Assistant.

EX-ACT-LY! Fluttershy and the fandom seems to forget that, as smart as Angel is compared to most of the other animals, he is still a bunny that is her pet and not a pony that is her friend. He isn't just "needy", he NEEDS Fluttershy's help for some of the most basic stuff because something as trivial as going anywhere outside Flutter's immediate vicinity or climbing up a shelf is a life-threatening adventure for him due to his size and location in the prey-predator pyramid. He's still a pet she has to look after and is a part of her responsibilities, no matter how many animals visit the sanctuary or how many classes she has to teach at the school. Neglecting him constantly for any length of time doesn't just inconvenience him, it puts his very survival at risk (As Fluttershy noticed after trying to get to Zecora's hut and almost dying at least three times on the way there). Not to mention he seems to be almost completely mentally isolated due to being a little too smart for his own good (He doesn't even consider the other animals someone to talk to; he tells Flutters he can only talk to her multiple times) Add these together and I can easily see how Angel developed his bad attitude.

Angel's the one that's been at her side since before the show's even started, none of these animals were comforting her on the times she's emotionally collapsed, or sticking up for her when she couldn't herself. Yet she has reduced his role in her life and left him to the point where his daily schedule is basically "Watch Fluttershy until she overworks herself to sleep and hope she'll remember you enough to at least get something to eat so you don't have to stick your head out of the Sanctuary and risk life itself".

@@Jirodyne Those ideas sound horrible. And besides, none of those actually SOLVE Angel's problems. It's basically you wanting the episode to end in a situation where Fluttershy can safely dump Angel out of his life without his opinion on the matter in a way she won't feel bad about. Angel's problem is not just not being cared for, it's being pretty much completely mentally isolated. And before you say "other animals", it's been pretty consistently shown so far that Angel is a lot "smarter" than a lot of the other wild animals she cares for, to the point he's psychologically closer to a pony than an animal. In this very episode, he deliberately uses pony terms to exclude the other animals from the list. The point of the episode was for the two to understand eachother's positions on the matter; without this episode happening, any other solution would either just result in Angel leaving her side or conflict flaring up again eventually; because Fluttershy doesn't understand how dependent he is to her (To the point leaving her side for five minutes is an exercise in survival, as Fluttershy so helpfully demonstrated by carelessly marching into the Everfree), and he doesn't understand how much work she's piled onto herself (He didn't even get to deal with the school before giving up). Does the episode SOLVE the issues Angel and Flutters have individually? No, but that wasn't it's point. This basically lays the groundwork for a more healthy future going forwards (Which will probably be left up to headcanon as to exactly what his role in the Sanctuary will be now that he knows how much work it is to run it) to make these two be able to properly work together to solve those problems later, and that's more important and meaningful than sticking another random character the fandom has no connection to and going "Welp, Fluttershy doesn't need to deal with Angel anymore, problem solved!".
