Caine may seem evil, but Gooseworx has said that he’s not. Unlike the rest of the main cast, Caine isn’t human. He’s an AI made for the Digital Circus, and he doesn’t understand humans very well. He genuinely has good intentions, he just executes those intentions very badly, cause he doesn’t get it. He’s trying his best, it’s just not very good. Bonus: Pomni, ironically, means “remember” in Russian. Could be a hint to something later. Bonus bonus: C&A likely stands for Cain(e) & Abel. The biblical story. Hence the last scene resembling The Last Supper.

My take on Caine is that he's probably working well outside the scope of what he was programmed for. The Digital Circus seems like it was designed to be something you log into for an hour or two and leave. He's programmed to be an entertainer for people that want to be there, but instead he's stuck being the caretaker for a bunch of permanent residents who just want to leave.

@@pundertalefan4391 It is about a Cro-magnon lady that was frozen in ice on top of Mount Vesubio. In the year 079, the volcano erupts (sending her block of ice in a parabolic trajectory); almost landing on top of a roman captain. Thinking she was sent as a gift from the gods, he loads her in his wagon & continues his travel to Rome. -> The ice eventually melts & she wakes up (hilarious romantic comedy issues ensue).

This is a very interesting and entertaining pilot. The animation is creative with the glitches and the characters are insanely charming. The humor is great and over the top. I really like the how Ragatha is the nice big sis to pomni. And Jax is so despicably lovable. I would love to see this as a miniseries. 9/10

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot about that since it's been awhile since I saw Little Runmo (the reaction was recorded before my long break for my move even though it went up after). The other animation where it happens is 'Elain the Bounty Hunter' if you're curious. Kinda funny that Gooseworx would go to the same bizarre concept multiple times.

Gooseworx has already done some 3D animations in The Pink City series for backgrounds and stuff I think. It just wasn't the primary animation style, there it was still a mixture of 2D and 3D. But it is definitely a much bigger focus now in TADC since it is basically only 3D now. Glad you enjoyed the Gooseworx content!

There is a lot of fan speculation that the new characters are going to be new players trapped in the game but looking at their designs they seem too specific to certain areas to be new players (add the fact that there are too many of them to introduce organically); they are more likely npcs that make the game/world feel more flushed out (the candy corn monster is probably just an obstacle in the candy kingdom and the princess is the ruler of the section)
