Blind Santa Rosa woodworker: 'It hasn't stopped me'

A passionate woodworker since the age of 12, Greg Cazares learned not only a love of the craft, but important safety skills. It has paid off. Diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at the age of 8, Cazares lost all functional sight nine years ago. But before that, he had created a system of measurements and safety that have allowed him to continue with his craft. Cazares, 61, has created 9-foot long pirate ships and intricate handheld toys.
