Man this is awesome. First time I saw these guys was at the Avalon in Boston with Thursday and Thrice. Best show ever, well besides Neverender. That shit was amazing too. The boys were at Jillian’s Bar before the show if I remember and me and my buddy Josh were nerding out and tried to talk to Claudio and he actually said hi and was super nice to us. We quickly left them alone but the fact they even paid us the time of day was really awesome. Rock on forever my dudes.

So my son and I watched you guys perform in Big Flats in August. It was my son’s first concert and it was on his 13th birthday. Just wanted you guys know how much your music has helped my son. He struggles with autism and never liked music until we read the Amory series. The story has opened him to the music and he is now exploring music thanks to you guys

If you read/dig into super old interviews you'll find that Halo and Star Wars were some of his biggest inspirations for the start of the band. I actually have a theory that the Willing Well 2 is specifically inspired by Halo's precursor, Marathon. Shares a lot of the same themes, and even nearly copies some lines from log entries in the game, specifically about the process of travelling between dimensions to "escape into the waves" or "eat the path", represented in the song as, "Do you feel the shore swell" and "I'm eating my way back home" Idk, I could just be tweaking though
