This video is a sound comparison among Wharfedale Diamond 12.2, Monitor Audio Bronze 100, Polk Audio Reserve R200 and KEF LS50 Meta with Audiolab 6000A.
I will reveal the result in 48 hours.
Four mighty speakers are at the same place to be compared the sound of characteristics. I want you to have fun while watching it and try your best shot. It is getting harder to recognize the sound of speaker. However, I bet you will enjoy.

My guess: A-KEF LS50 B-AM Bronze 100 C-Polk Audio Reserve R200 D-Wharfedale 12.2 I like the sound of C overall. Using my cheapo Philips SHP9500 headphone and FX Audio Dac-X6..

I own the Polk R 200s but haven't heard them yet as I'm still looking for a receiver but I think they are either the B or C speakers. The R 200s are my favorite and I'm betting they are the B speakers. I bought the polks because I really liked the look and the construction and I imagined them sounding incredible!!

Why is the stereo image off on all the latest videos? In the video from August 31st, with the Audiolab and CXA81 with the Metas, the lead trumpet on the jazz song sounds dead center, but on all the recent videos, it sounds like it's on the right side. You need to check the balance on your mics. It's off, or the left mic is damaged, or something else is unbalanced.

A = Bronze 100 B = Polk R200 C = 12.2 D = LS50 Meta ????????? I preferred the B and C. 1º B 2º C I found the A to be much brighter, rougher, and stinging. It's almost certainly the MA Bronze. Polk ins more clear. The 12.2 arrives very close to the Polk. But it loses a little in bass (both quality and quantity) and in the clarity of the middle region. KEF have the sound with less bass and not much clarity like Polk.

Definitely C for me, however I use q acoustics 3050 floor standers, and the marriage with audiolab 6000a is simply HOT ..

This is more difficult to guess which is which. I don't feel any bad sound but only different compromise like B has good bass but a little hint of brightness. Some sound weaker may be due to level matching.

Initial impression : B sounds the most V shaped, shrill and hollowest upper mids of the lot, A has very wide echoey soundstage like its playing in an empty cathedral with forward mids, C and D are close with C having a wider soundstage and D being more focused (mid forward?). D has sweet male and female vocals that is not harsh which is a character that only the 12.2 posses. Ill pass on B, its thin in the mids, I would go for C and D as nothing sticks out, B has a showroom kind of sound that will impress on the initial listen but tire you out quick. C and D, followed by A then B. I feel volume isnt level matched properly and D sounds the softest, making it less dynamic than others. A quick test with db meter will confirm this. Im going back later to see it on the spectrum analyzer and compare it with the last vid. But then again, a boosted speaker would also sound louder than others. We shall see later tonight. B is most probably the Bronze 100, thin recessed mids gave it away, A, B and D is split between the close tonality of the Meta, R200 and 12.2. I really like C and D for its balance. Sometimes the best thing about a speaker is when you have nothing to say about a speaker. I might be wrong as hell and I dont know what the audiolab does to all these speakers but hey at least it was fun! Thank you so much E!!! Keep these blind tests coming! P.S : All the answers in the comment section now arent as confident as the ones in the last video, is it? Hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha! Thats what blind tests do to you, imagine the way more stringent double blind ABX test, most will crumble to the pressure including yours truly. Hahahahahahahahahaa!

Totally agree with your opinion for B. not bad tonality even with wow factor of bass and treble. But in my experience when choosing bookshelf speakers, it's better to get some warmth for mid range.

Please! Test Integrated Rotel A11Tribute By Ken Ishiata ex Marantz. And if possible test the Monitor Audio Studio, Gold 100 5G, Dynaudio Evoke 10 or 20 and the Sonus Faber Lumina 1 or 2. Other alternatives: Canton GLE 30, Definitive Technology D9, Mission QX-2 MK II, LX-2 MK II And LX-3 MK II.

@@higobatman i had the LX-3 MKII before the 12.2. Bloody seller recommended me that speaker and I bought it without listening to it. Nothing to shout about, it tries to do everything but fail to master any. The Q is step higher but I have no idea what that sounds like. If it sounds like the L-MKII, it wont be great.

Мне больше понравился по тоналке B(масштабный) и С(четкий). Я думаю в живую результат мог бы быть другим, а тут приходиться эквализировать наушники да и деталей меньше.

@@copper8022 многим нравится яркий звук, воспринимается он масштабнее и воздушнее, но бывает некоторые производители не соблюдают границу и такие колонки меня быстро утомляют высокими частотами, даже до головной боли) поэтому стараюсь обходить стороной такой звук, стараюсь слушать те, у которых ровная ачх, как у Kef reference 1, прям мечта. Но для таких ровных колонок нужен хороший токовый усилитель, цены там тоже капец

I don't want to make a fool of myself, so I'm not going to try and guess which is which. I'll only say that, with this amp, I prefer B, with C a close second, A is third, and D in last place. A is too weak in the bass and lower mids, and D is too rolled off on top, whereas B and C sounded the best balanced to my ears, with my headphones
