The Moxy Hotel in Southampton is an ideal place to stay overnight prior to sailing on your upcoming cruise ship. Only 1 street back from the port. We were pleasantly surprised by the vibe of the hotel, and the cleanliness as well as the friendliness of the great staff.
On arrival you are offered a Moxy Cocktail, which was rather lovely, and the feel of the reception is modern, and airy. It has a definite Sea Faring theme about the place with a massive metal Anchor by the stairs in reception.
Breakfast is available, and the bar is open into the early hours and reception 24 hours.
The rooms are small, but exceptionally clean, great tea and coffee tray, and the beds are very comfortable. At the time of posting, our room cost just £72 for the night ( No breakfast included with that price ).

The Convoy App for the Moxy is excellent, and has many features, including managing your booking before arrival, requesting extra towels etc, as well as letting them know your arrival time. It will also let you know when your room is ready, as well as allowing you to use the app on your phone to access your door, as opposed to using a keycard.
