I am wondering if you ran into the same issue that vexed me with the DX3 pro+. I would turn on the unit and switch to USB (android phone) or Optical (Wiim mini) and it would NOT recognize either one. I would have to turn off / on the unit several times or even unplug before it recognized either one. I thought mine was a bum unit, but got it replaced and had the same issue. Never had an issue with PC to USB nor bluetooth, so it could be Android, but the Wiim also did not work. How has it been for you?

I did not have that issue, but I have yet to attach anything bemuse my M1 MacBook Air to it. That sounds like it could be an attached device issue rather than the DX3. Hard to say tho.
