That's definitely not my average, but, that's the current destructive KZbin algorithm at work... screwing thousands of channels with one change overnight that no longer notifies any of our subscribers of new videos. We literally cannot access or communicate with more than 1% of our subscribers at a time. It's been a 7 month long issue that thousands of channels, including mine, have posted many videos about. KZbin has "acknowledged" the problem... but has yet to fix it.

When I was 17 I suffered a traumatic brain injury when I was ejected from an SUV, so for me my days are constantly consumed with me putting something down and completely forgetting where I put it and spending the next few hours tearing everything apart, cursing the world and swearing up and down that somehow someone stole it, meanwhile it's still in my pants that I completely forgot I changed out of or something. So to see you struggle to find a lost object and do it smiling even after you've seemingly checked everywhere and still haven't found it gives me a weird hope that someday I'll be able to deal with what life gives me smiling instead of getting infuriated over things I have no control to change.

Tommy, I’ve only just discovered you recently, and I just can’t get enough of your videos! I also have a “sensory disability”. While serving in the military (Canadian), I took a bad fall one day a and smashed my head. End result, I lost my sense of smell! When the sense of smell goes, so does most of your sense of taste, you only have 4 from your taste buds! My disability is no where near as bad as being blind! Keep up the awesome video’s!

Tommy I liked this video. I'm actually really glad that one I always bring my own shampoos and stuff so I know which is which bit as for the key card I always place it back in the envelope and in the same spot every time on the dresser where the tv is. I have actualy worn tights over my eyes ( it's all I had) so I could not see anything, to imitate being blind in favor of Tommy Edison and it sucked. I tried to draw and write as he did in previous vids I also tried to walk around without banging into to things it was hard without using my sense of feel and sound. "Watching" tv was frustrating as I could not see the screen and could only listen to it. Does anyone else do this?

I wonder did Tommy at least get some chance to orient the basic layout of the room first. I feel like that would be more fair as a sighted person has some basic knowledge of the room layout if they have seen it even briefly. As a sighted person I feel like just walking through the door even if you surprised me after only a few seconds covering my eyes I probably couldn't give you a complete inventory of every object in the room but I could probably describe the basic layout of the space things like the shape and vaguely where the sitting area was and that there was a TV or something near the other wall that sort of thing. While it would still be easy to get disorientated it certainly would be an advantage to have some vague idea how the space is laid out unless Tommy had an opportunity to get that same chance to familiarise themselves with the layout. And that is assuming that I didn't know what was going to happen so didn't have any reason to pay extra attention to the massive amount of information that is available to us at a glance as a sighted person, that said things like this are interesting as it makes you think about that sort of thing and we do often take for granted the ability to almost instantly just know the layout of a room just with a casual glance.

This is out of topic, but Tommy, you should REALLY watch Dunkirk! The movie's strong point, I think, is the sound effects and music, so I think this movie would be awesome for you. Although the drawback is that there are very few dialogues in the movie, but I thought someone (maybe Ben) watching it with you to explain things would be cool! Really, you should go to the cinemas to watch it. I really want you to, I actually hoped I was living near you so that I could watch it with you and walk it through for you.

I was also born with a rare eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa. I have Cerebral Palsy and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have had hydrocephalus. I'd think so. He said "It wouldn't be on the floor" at some point in the video. If he wanted his stuff to be where he put it and he couldn't find things he needed regularly could make him unsteady. So keeping things where he likes them and in order could help. I just thought this out, but started watching him this week. Just have to put yourself in his shoes

Yes. OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) is far more vast than just "this looks out of order and bothers me". Mental compulsions are also just as common. Such as having a bad thought about someone and obsessing about what it means. Look up "Pure OCD" if you're curious.

Yes they can, you don't need a see things to be triggered by them. For example there can be someone who get triggered my word counts in sentences ( like only 3 words; I am R/N).
