This boy really upgraded from "What if this song was in KH2" to "What if Yoko Shimomura composed this song." Holy CRAP this sounds amazing.

I've been so excited waiting for this! The XIII trilogy is very close to my heart and I've always loved this track in particular! Thank you so much for doing this and if I can make any personal requests I'd love some remixes from XV and XIV! You'd do a fantastic job!
@Jerichords4 жыл бұрын
I have four pieces on KZbin that were XV inspired! "Monsters in the Hollows", "The Stars Harken", "The Prince's Skirmish" and "The Blade Which Stalks"! I also did a Heavenward Main Theme cover as well :) I probably won't do any XIV songs because I'm still far behind on ARR and I like to hear the soundtrack of games as I play!

I like this; it sounds straight out of Lightning Returns. But if it was meant to be for FFXIII specifically or the series as a whole, I wish it had more of the epic French horn and low brass lines of the original, as well as the heavy percussion. Imo, this battle theme inherently carries an air of grand, sweeping orchestra, and that's part of why I enjoy the OG so much. "Crimson Blitz" carried a lot of that spirit despite having lighter rhythm and tone, especially in the chorus with the brief vocals and violin focus.

I’ve heard the original ost of this so I’m curious to see how you’ll arrange it. Also if there’s a soundtrack I would like to see you take a shot at it would be “Influence of Deep” from Parasite Eve, good stuff there. This isn't bad at all. It's a bit off putting though. You tried to do a lot within the first 1'30 and although good some bits didn't mesh well and the key changes were noticeable. Around 2ish that bass in the back is a damn good rhythm. I felt if you played off that or came into it in the beginning and expand on it from there would have been much more impactful. Especially if you wanna switch it up with the chorus with something hype ya know? Just things I noticed. I hope this isn't taken as offensive but as constructive.
