I LOVE these blind hemmers! I never understood how anyone could afford to accept only $3 to raise the hem on a skirt or pair of slacks, until a friend explained that she used an industrial blind hemmer, & it saved HOURS of time, making it possible to actually sew them so fast, & so professionally, with so little effort! Thank you for sharing this video! Now if I could only find a video on oiling it!

thank you for the update on the blind hemmer The Tacsew hemmer I didn't go with but I did purchase the Consew they both look the same and operate the same. Now I have a better idea how to thread it. my machine didn't have enough information to guide me through.

What type of needle does that TacSew blind hemmer use? I think it is the same as mine, and I have had a hard time finding the correct needles for it, because it is used, and the paperwork did not come with it, and it doesn't say anywhere on the machine, what size of needle to use.The needle it came with broke, and while I can read the needle size with a magnifying glass, it doesn't say what type of needle it is, so I keep buying the wrong kind. I am learning to use an old blind stitch machine. This video has been very helpful. The machine I am using seems to skip catching the loops when stitching over seams. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Great video but I thought when ending the stitching that you should not yank the fabric from the back that it will eventually bend the needle. Also what kind of thread?

I am working on a Tacsew and the thread keeps breaking. It appears to happen when the looper moves into its 2nd move. I have tried a different thread, fabric, tension and stitch depth but the thread continues to break. Anyone have suggestions?
