As an Aussie, i can assure you that we know about the dangers of other countries, i.e. we don't have big cats and bears, and south America and Asia's have some crazy insects. I think we have the reputation since we have a lot of everything and a lot of the "phobia" animals aren't innocent when it comes to venom.

Joro spider they balloon and can fly ... They are in the US in Georgia and Carolinas heading north... They are huge but harmless... They are orb weavers.

I greatly appreciate the warning for people with arachnophobia before the closeup of the orb weaver. I love nature shows but it's always stressful when you have no idea if there's about to be a hard-cut to a giant spider. Even in B-roll footage during voiceovers most shows can't resist showing off something way too big with way too many legs.

For future reference, to hold most crabs safely without getting pinched or prodded, grab em' under the sides of it's shell, above the legs. Learnt that as a child while tide-pooling. Stay safe have fun 😊
