How do you know it’s individual bias and not human bias. We evolved to spot people who aren’t the same race. Stop peddling post modern communist falsities. It’s natural to notice different races, this applies to all people. The next step is to understand we are all human, not different races where black people should be perceived white and white people should be perceived black. It’s dangerous and fallacious. It exists within us for a reason. No doubt this will go over many heads though. It’s true we only see one colour, but that’s normal, what should transgress is, seeing one human. Cause that’s what we all are.

This film was phenomenal. Very funny, grippping, and politically aware. I love Collin's ability to drop in and out of a rap verse and have it connect dramatically to the scene at hand. Especially towards the ending. I was left speechless.

People who don't understand this movie it's because they don't want to. The message is clear as water and what is happening right now is a proof of it. In fact, this movie doesn't need an award to be amazing and good, we all know cinema industry is biased, they use racial issues, sexuality and minorities only as an advantage, a way to make money and popularity, not to make a change. Saw this film when it first came out and still one of my favorite movies ever. The dynamics of the relationship between Daveed Diggs (Collin) and Rafael Casal (Miles) was so truthful and downright wild it parallels the ideas of African-American crime fiction writer Chester Himes, “And I thought I was writing realism. It never occurred to me that I was writing absurdity.” The reality of life for black people in America is so crazy it doesn’t even seem real at times.

I have nothing against people knowing him because of Hamilton, hell that's how i found out about him, and then through Daveed I found out about Rafa and feel in love with his work, that's not the issue... the issue I have, is people coming on to this trailer and mentioning Hamilton, and referring to Daveed has Jefferson, I'm happy people in the Hamilton community are excited to see this, but don't make it about Hamilton... this is a whole other side of him and people need to respect that.

I never knew Daveed until I worked on this movie. I didn't find out about his Tony win until like the 2nd week of shooting. I love is "Fresh From the Hood" video. Who doesn't love Rafa? He was really great with my daughter. Who is autistic. I can't wait to see the movie. Will be coming to Oakland on July 20th.
