This trailer was great!! Glad you guys got to it so quickly! By the way, that sword Katana was holding is probably the "Soultaker Sword" she has in the comics. It has the ability to extract the soul from anyone it kills, and then that soul is trapped within the blade (Katana is then able to communicate with the soul). The soul of Katana's husband Maseo is believed to be trapped in the blade as well.

Joker's tattoos are not a problem when you consider the fact that it's the joker. He's had tattoos in the comics before, and he once cut off his own face and wore it like a mask. He's a limitless character. Katana's sword has the souls of all the people it's killed which is what that was.

So here's my assumption, I don't think joker is the MAIN antagonist in this movie. Do I think the squad is fighting the joker? Yes I do. But not as the main problem here. I think he is just another problem added to their plate. I think enchantress is the main antagonist here because in the trailers or clips or anything else we don't actually see enchantress walking around with the squad nor fighting the squad. I think those weird tar people are people she possibly possessed. I think the jokers main role here is just revolved around Harley. I don't think the story involves him in anything else other than Harley related. There is definitely going to be a Harley origin story where I think most of the jokers screen time is going to be (His screen time is exactly 47 min of a 2h and 10 min movie). And I think in the present time he is only included again because he wants Harley back. Which is the only reason I can gather he'd be fighting them for. So fighting the joker is bad enough because come on, hes the joker for god sakes, but they also have to deal with enchantress and her weird people. And lets not forget that scene where it looks like the character "common" is tearing through a subway which melts it. I don't know if its common or not but whoever it is I think they teamed up with enchantress. So they have freakishly powerful enchantress, extremely scary common (we don't actually know if its common) and a insane psychopathic joker that is mad as heck because they took his girlfriend. Sounds like they must be having a good time in this movie XD.

I am 99.9% sure that the scene you are talking about around 6:40 is from the comics, where the Joker has pushed Harley Quinn into the same acid that transformed him and made him the Joker. I mean, from the other trailer, we have seen Harleen before she became Harley, and even in this new one we do see Harleen for a split second, slamming her fists down on what seems to be the Joker's car. I really do hope that I am correct about this moment, because I would love love LOVE to experience this pivotal moment in Harley's life cinematically.

I have a theory about the so hated Damaged Tattoo on Jokers forehead. A forehead Tattoo is not something you see often. The last one I remember I saw on the news were some bullies tattoed something on a Kids forehead to humiliate him. So my Idea is that his damaged Tattoo has a similar Origin. The Joker is abusive torwards woman specially to Harley what if she tattoed him that. We know Margot Robbie had a tattoo gun on the set and tattooed the Cast members. Maybe she bought the Gun to prepare for her role and she did all the Joker Tattoos. One Day, he abused her again, she had enough knocked him out with her bat and left him a little Message on his head. She gets caught for some reason goes to Jail and ends up in the Squad
