Eric just sounding like that prince from 'The Holy Grail': "But faaatthherrrr.... I just want to sing, sing, sing!!!" This is kind of random, but Jack's voice has always sounded very much like the actor playing 'Pontius Pilates' in JCSuperstar to me...

im also worried about the sheer amount of stuff that seems to be going on in this movie and unless it's gonna be 3 hours long i dont see how they can get all of this adapted well.

THERE’S WINDOWS BARELY OFF SCREEN?!? Knowing all this is here actually makes all the reactions feel even more home-like. I don’t know why I thought it was like a warehouse. But the fact it actually is one giant home is impressively cozy.

Dude in the stripe is from Punisher iirc he's simply called "The Russian" and in the old Punisher movie...the one from 2004, he was played by Kevin Nash...yes THAT Kevin Nash. They were gonna get Thomas Jane (the actor playing Frank a.k.a The Punisher) wired up for him being lifted by The Russian...and Kevin just did it by hand no wires needed...he was also STABBED on set because one of the prop guys forget to change out the knife for the fight versus the one that was for close up shots...the fake knife was supposed to retract into the handle when stabbed, standard stuff...the prop guy forgot to change it out and so Kevin Nash was stabbed with a BLUNT knife..so yeah that scene where Punisher stabs The Russian in the 2004 movie..? He was REALLY stabbed with a knife. He was fine and didn't even notice till after the fact lol. In the comics version of this fight The Russian was killed by The Punisher getting his fat neighbor to sit on his face till he died while Frank held him down.

In regards to Thomas' hospitalisation, he was sent to Bethlam Royal Hospital, which was an *infamous* psychiatric hospital/insane asylum in London (and England's first). Patients there were treated horrifically. (It was also known as Bedlam Hospital, which is where we get the word 'bedlam' from.)

15:40 Charlie's use of intervention here is the funniest bit in a legendary episode to me 🤌🏽 (17:32 honorable mention for Dennis's " take that shoulder-padded jacked and... Get the hell outta here.")

Critical Role did a Christmas special called "The Night Before Critmas" that... borrows quite a bit from this film (and that's all I'll say about it)

Superman being beaten and bloody at the beginning of the trailer is a metaphor of not only the state of the DC cinematic world, it is also a representation of our state of hope in the world…

Nightmare Before Christmas is a Thanksgiving movie. It begins in the last like, five minutes of Halloween and ends on December 25th. The entire movie is about the transitory time between both holidays, the ambiguity of that time period both in season and in life, and the concept of thankfulness, whether it's for being the Pumpkin King or for your best friend turned lover. It may thematically be Halloween and/or Christmas, but it's a Thanksgiving movie.

Blindwave’s original content was always my favorite! I miss the skits, cooking with blind wave, and behind the scenes. I love certain reaction series, but Anime isn’t my thing, so I loved seeing this! It felt like the guys I used to watch all day long! ❤️
