While I understand how people feel about the Mario casting when it comes to a Hollywood movie they usually cast the big stars because they bring in the views so I never expected the original voice actors to be brought

Thats not really a good enough reason. They only chose these actors solely for the money not their skill. Which is why we need VAs to be in more hollywood animated films so they could be even more famous and well known which would mean money for these studios Besides, its Mario, does it really need the star power when it already has it by the name alone?

While I do agree that it would be better hollywood only works on getting as much money as possible specially with a super Mario movie there is no way illumination is making a Mario movie for that untap story telling they just want the money is not that using famous actors is something they have to need to justify is that they would need a good reason to not do that

Kirby is hit-or-miss for me. I love the games with his classic copy abilities and great single-player gameplay, but then there's Epic Yarn and Star Allies which... nah. (For reference, Crystal Shards and Squeak Squad are my favorite Kirby games.) Forgotten Land looks... very possibly amazing! I'll have to keep my eye on it, see what the gameplay is like (maybe, if I'm a very good boy, it'll turn out they brought back copy-combos like Cutter Bomb!), but there's a 50/50 chance that between March and May, I will be $60 poorer and precisely 1 Kirby richer.

They said MAINLY FOCUSING on winter. Why do you have subtitles on!? I don't get it, so many are doing it... It's just in the way and out of sync and incorrect and you know English. A good Direct, Kirby is the only new thing I'm interested in though. Chris Pratt voicing Mario is just such a bad choice, Charles is in it but not doing Mario! Even if he didn't wanna do it, Chris seems like a bad option. Was expecting a crazier reaction to it. No, Waluigi is already and assist trophy. And he doesn't deserve it. I'm happy no matter who it is cause we've gotten more than enough long ago. But who I want the most is Leon S. Kennedy. But my guess if it's gonna be something mind-blowing, Sora. Or Master Hand. But if not those then my crazy guess is a Tetrimino.

I'm guessing Charles either himself didn't think he'd be able to make a whole movie with that Mario voice or some other reason. I can't imagine they just have him in the movie without having the idea of him simply voicing mario

@@zombor8249 It's possible someone at Nintendo or Illumination decided it for several reasons. One could be to draw in more people, which would be a bs reason. I really hope we hear about why this was done and I hope Chris can do something that works but I just don't see it unless he can mimic Charles well.

Either way it looks like it's supposed to be a more comedic movie, so I'll either laugh my ass off because it's horrible or because it works well. Win win I'd say.

@@zombor8249 Mario has the voice of Charles in every Mario game released, original or localised. The movie will be dubbed into many languages which means the characters won't have their game voice in the majority of dubs.
