Omg thank you Gina now I understand it it’s been like 25 videos I watch from other companies and other ladies and they weren’t showing and explaining it properly and I wasn’t understanding it at all and I was stress to start any jewelry with right angle weave, you are the best

I so agree with Anne Janvrin. You are a great teacher who leaves out no detail that would leave your student foundering. Someone has asked me to teach her how to make one of my designs and I wasn't sure. Watching you do this lovely but complicated bangle has given me the courage to say yes...and I shall try to be as comprehensive as you. Thanks and God bless you.

Finally I have been trying and trying to learn cubic right angle weave. I selected two beads without fancy finishes. As I am 63 years old I find that the similarities between Iris or silver lined or anything like that gets in my way of visually seeing what I'm doing when I'm learning something new. I have also found that a good strong contrast really helps sometimes when it's in the bottles it looks like it's going to be a great match that when I get them together then they can get mixed up thank you I finally have made about an inch of craw

LOL, don't get too shook up, you might get dizzy! I think 6 mm will be too big. I was pushing it with 4mm beads. I mean the stitch will work but your piece will be big and very thready. Of course you can try but I can't say it will look as good. You would have to adjust your embellishment beads too. I am happy you like the bangle!

Hi,I lover this bangle n I am making one.one question u hv added 2seed bead on outer side n 1on inside.is it the pattern or any other specific reason? Plz reply thanks.once again very beautiful bangle
@GinasGemCreations10 жыл бұрын
Hi, glad you like this one. Yes, there is a reason for two seed beads on the outside and one on the inside. The reason is that the outside circumference is larger than the inside. If you put two on the inside they will just bunch up.
@pamelasmith72458 жыл бұрын
Hi Gina I love this bangle it inspired me to have a go ( I'm a first timer) the first part I found really easy even joining it together what I am really struggling with is the next stage the seed beads, I understand what to do but as I go round the outside keeping what I think is in line when I get to where it should join I'm a row down lower than where I started I have done it 7 times now and each time it's the same could it be anything to do with the fire line I've used as mine is 6lb and yours I have just noticed is 8lb? I would be really great full if you could offer any suggestions as I really want to finish this and not give up please please help.

You're a great tutor. A question though, at which point does the knot at your needle eye become a tail?
@GinasGemCreations7 жыл бұрын
I may not understand your question but, there is no knot the needle point, the thread is pulled through the eye, not knotted. The tail end is the very end of the length of thread, that is not in use, where the first beads were put onto the thread. The tail can be any length left behind the first unit produced on the thread.

@GinasGemCreations10 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes, you can do it on any size bead, you will have to adjust the sizes of the embellishment beads. Using 11/0s for your base will make a very small base weave, a small bracelet too. You will have to use 15/0s for the embellishments and probably 2.5mm bicones.

I am new to beading and was wondering how do you know how much fireline or threead to use to complete this and/or any project for that matter? I really don't want to make it more difficult by having to tie in more line if possible! Thanks.
@GinasGemCreations10 жыл бұрын
Jennifer, it is very difficult to know exactly how much thread to use with every project. The larger projects, or those with a thread thirsty stitch, like this one, take several yards of thread. start with a couple yards, but pulling lots of thread through tends to weaken the thread and is difficult not to tangle and knot. I tend to use comfortable lengths and then join my Fireline as needed or tie off and on again. You may want to check out a video called "joining Fireline for Bead weaving" on you tube. It will be a great help!

Hi Gina, where can I find the Thunder Polish Bicones? Are they cheaper than Swarovski? Love this bracelet. Love everything you do!!!
@GinasGemCreations9 жыл бұрын
You can find them at Beadcorp.com and yes, they are a lot cheaper than Swarovski. Thanks for the nice note.
@lorrainebrooks69349 жыл бұрын
Gina's Gem Creations Thanks, went to look, they are cheaper. But I get them even cheaper on eBay. I know, probably shame on me right? lol. I only look in auctions, if you know crystals at all, you can really get a lot of them for practically nothing. Just got a delivery yesterday. 100-3x2 abacus AB Amber for $1.00 and 100-3x2 abacus AB Purple for a whopping 31 cents. And 2-16 inch strands of 6mm Bicone AB crystals for $1.04. And I could go on and on. But I never pass them off as anything they aren't either, they are just crystals, no brand name. I'm an older gal that's young at heart. Lost my husband to cancer last year and am on a very limited income, so I have to justify to myself every penny I spend. I've been told by many that I sell my jewelry too cheap but I'm not trying to get rich, just supplement my income a bit. So I figure, if I can make a truly beautiful crystal bracelet in 30 mins and get $4 to $6 for it with repeat sales ordered on the spot, why sell it for $12 to $15 and get a one time sale? Jewelry is like makeup, no matter the economy, it's always going to be worn by many. I guarantee my jewelry for a full year, if it beaks I fix it or replace it, no charge. You can't find that at a jewelry store, lol. In 5 years, I've gotten 1 item back, so I'm happy.
@GinasGemCreations9 жыл бұрын
I believe that you should buy what pleases you and sell for what you think is right. People enjoy the cheaper beads as well. A lot of women will buy the cheaper pieces, they enjoy them for what they are worth. Wear them until they are worn out and not morn them when they are gone. More expensive pieces are nice too. It's all a personal preference.
@lorrainebrooks69349 жыл бұрын
I been making jewelry for almost 6 years, Nothing I've made has ever broke, though material is important, I think the most important part of any jewelry piece is the construction of it. I really like everything I've seen on your vids, you are a very talented lady.

Hi Henke, I love that you are making the projects with your own flair! That is where designing begins. Mix it up use different beads add different elements to it, that's fabulous! That's how I started. I never really copied a pattern, I would usually change it to accommodate the beads I already had instead of buying more. I learned to be creative that way. Have fun! I would love to see your bracelet!
@newmeetings10 жыл бұрын
Hello, this is my first time on your channel. I love your idea about using 2 different colors in your pearls. A suggestion is to use a darker color beading thread so the viewer can see the thread and where it goes rather than just listening to your description. I hope that helps. I am a visual person and watching for me is easier than just your verbal discription. JoAnn from NM

Lovely Gina. Will this work on 3mm pearls and 3mm crystals? Will the seed beads be 11/0 or 15? You're tutorials are wonderful. Thank you so much.

Is it the same as tubular rightangle weave ?
@GinasGemCreations7 жыл бұрын
+vanshita Yes, I believe so. It is usually referred to as cubic right angle weave, but a rope of it may be referred to as tubular.

I struggle with CRAW but I shall try again ?
@GinasGemCreations10 жыл бұрын
Lynn, I was intimated by CRAW for a long time. But the more familiar I became with one needle basic RAW, the easier it became to recognize the pattern of CRAW. One day it just clicked. Maybe your day is here!

How do I add thread once I've ran out?
@GinasGemCreations9 жыл бұрын
Look up "joining Fireline for bead weaving" here on you tube. Watchit and learn to extend your Fireline. If you are not using Fireline, you need to knot off, knot back on a row or two back, sew through those rows until you are back where left off then continue the weave.

How much tension is used?
@GinasGemCreations10 жыл бұрын
Keep the thread as tight as you can as you make the CRAW. The better your tension, the better your project will be. Pull the thread through allowing no slack during the embellishments also.

LOL, I can picture that! This is a tough stitch. I couldn't do it myself for a long time...I figured it out for myself one day after hours of arguing with the beads and thread...I think I had that frown your talking about. You will get it, I promise, hang in there.😀
