@@clicheguevara9917 That is from the Mesa Rectifier. That country twang is vintage distortion on a Mesa. It's actually the clean tone channel that the Marshall brings and blends. Reason they always had this unique sound that nobody ever quite copied is because most people DONT use Mesa amps but use Marshalls for that generic distortion sound everyone else has. Tom also plays high on the bridge and the higher strings possible for any given chord or riff. More brighter treble: more twang.

Somehow I forgot about this song for years... I don't know why it isn't with the rest of the album on my phone. It came on Pandora and I immediately recognized the style and voice, but couldn't remember what song it was. I thought for a second it might have been a bonus track on an album I didn't have, but suddenly I found myself singing the lyrics. I love rediscovering songs I love but had forgotten about.

Jack Mandura personally i wouldn’t classify them as punk rock. i consider the clash, ramones, new york dolls, etc to be punk rock... although i love blink they’re definitely on the poppier side of things
