You are not supposed to be aware of all the shit waiting for you in adult life--so it's easy to feel on top of the world. We all feel that way as teenagers. The only difference for me was the decade and the music (Aerosmith, Boston and Rush).

Then they came back together, realized how different their messages were, and decided to fully integrate both messages into the song. Genius shit. Love this song.

This is probably my favorite Blink 182 song. Mark and Tom actually both sing a lot instead of one doing back up vocals for the other, or just having one of them sing. Also at the end when they are singing over each other that part sounds really good. I wish they had more songs where both of them sing almost the same amount.

And maybe tonight I can breathe for awhile. I'm not in the scene I think I'm fallin' asleep But then all that it means is I'll always be dreaming of you. when i was in high school it sort of made me mad that these guys wrote these songs in their 30s, well beyond their teenage angst (which, at the time i saw as their main demographic appeal). Now as a 24 year old I appreciate their music more than when I was 12. Age is only a number. It is not "pop-punk," these guys just make you feel like a teenager when you listen to them, and that is awesome. I miss it.
