Blink Indoor/Outdoor Camera Red Flashing Light Fixed!

If you are having an issue with your blink camera flashing red, not connecting and replacing the batteries did not fix your issue have a look at this video. You should try replacing one battery, holding the reset button while putting in the second battery. Then continuing to hold the reset button for a few seconds until the light goes out.
Next go unplug your sync module for about 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If you deleted your camera previously simply rescan it in the app and try and add it again.

Thanks for sharing David. It worked for me after multiple attempts. It is something related to how we use the reset button on the camera. Try to keep pressing the camera reset button for a while and once it stop blinking red, add device back with in 15 seconds. Hope this helps!

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version kzbin.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Great job! If your camera still isn’t working properly after following this video, scan the barcode on the camera to add it, then add brand new batteries while it is looking for it. Make sure you are on the same WiFi as your module.

I put on a new set of batteries and it fixed the problem. It turns out the flashing was due to the batteries running low.

The big flashing red light is for battery. The small red one is for when it is recording.

Hi Elizabeth, sorry to hear its not working for you. When is the last time it was working for you? Also can you try unplugging the power to the sync module for longer and see if that works? Maybe try like 1 full minute. Let me know!

This blink camera are junk specially the new model I never had issues of losing communication with the cameras, and now everytime that I change batteries if you don't do it as soon as they die, the camera doesn't sync properly. They are junk.

@David Didn’t work for me. Adding one battery doesn’t light up red at all. When I put 2 batteries then it lights up flashing red. I tried holding reset with 2 batteries the camera stopped flashing red for a few seconds then continued flashing red again. Anyone have any solutions? If not then guess I’ll.
