In this video we teach you how to factory reset your Blink Doorbell. Factory reseting your Blink Doorbell will delete any information stored on your doorbell and allow you to set the doorbell up on a new account or sell the device. How To Factory Reset Blink Doorbell:
1. Use a paperclip/screwdriver or other small object to release the Blink Doorbell from it's mount by pressing in tab located on the bottom of the blink doorbell.
2. Hold the doorbell while pressing in the tab and the doorbell will allow you to gently pull it forwards off the mount while lifting up.
3. On the back of the device hold down the button for 12 + seconds until the device flashes blue and red and then you can release your finger and the Blink Doorbell has been factory reset.

I ended up deleting my doorbell from the Blink App. I then re-installed the doorbell as if i was installing it for the first time on the app and then it worked

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version kzbin.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Does cold temperature affect the system? I have my doorbell camera hardwired but the camera and the push button isn't working and therefore, not alerting me to any visitor.

Open Blink app, clink on settings, clink on Device and system, clink on device giving you problems under system, clink on all devices, clink on device under cameras, clink on General settings,link on network and reconnect. Not going to lie. It took me 6 hours to figure out 😅

The issue was the batteries for me. I have been using Amazon basics batteries not realizing they were Alkaline and not the Lithium 1.5 like the label says to use... As soon as I used those... all the cameras I thought were broke, worked... I feel dumb...

I’ve reset the batteries I reset the doorbell I’ve reset the module I reset my router I’ve reset everything and my doorbell still does not connect. I’ve even deleted the device and reconnected it it’s still don’t work just all of a sudden

Just had same problem all other cameras and sync module are fine and working the doorbell will not do anything connect pair sync just stopped day after install and have no connectivity seems like it will not reconnect to the Wi-Fi

@@mcgremlin It turned out to be my batteries that’s the only thing I didn’t change out. Here’s the issue: usually when the batteries go bad it let you know. This particular doorbell is going through batteries every 2 to 4 weeks. Since I started having an issue, I’ve gone through four sets of batteries. I’ll probably order another blink doorbell and return this one as defective. Again, when my problem started gave no indication of low batteries. The batteries were good. When I changed out the good batteries with others the problem disappeared.

Go back to the seller and ask them to delete it from their app. Or search KZbin, and scroll after you enter your search / Google will bury the vid.

This is BS! This all looks really smooth when it works. But this device NEVER blinks red after reset, changing batteries, deleting it. It will not reset. It will not blink red. Blink support repeats the same thing as this video which DOESN'T WORK!

You need to press reset for about a minute…after about a minute it will blink red only. But it still didn‘t fix the problem in my case… 😝
