Container lorry: "You saw me coming, you should have stopped!" Even if the signal was red and functional, trains ALWAYS have right-of-way over cars. First off, the signal wouldn't have _been_ red anyway, because the road system isn't taken into account with signaling. Second, trains can't stop quickly or swerve out of the way, which is why they automatically get right-of-way vs road traffic. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if there's an accident between a road vehicle and a train, the road vehicle is ALWAYS at fault.

Just wondering, are you going by RWS canon or TTTE canon? Either way there's a bit of a goof with Thomas's commuter train, but which version of canon you're using depends on what that goof is. For RWS: Thomas's commuter train is a push-pull service, and runs in reverse on the return trip (much like many modern commuter trains). Claribel is a cab car and runs as the head-end for those return trips. For TTTE: Claribel is a brake coach and has to run at the back end of the train either way, which means either the entire train has to be turned or Thomas has to run Claribel around Annie after getting himself turned around. There's one other goof with Percy's safety valve as well. Barring the fact that the safety valve is on the boiler rather than the steam pipes and wouldn't burst in this case, the safety valve on a steam locomotive is mounted to the top of the boiler, not the inside of the cab. In fact, putting the safety valve inside the cab would be a safety hazard, as it shoots out hot steam at high pressure when it opens.
