Blinken and Zelensky discuss urgent help for Kharkiv

President Zelensky has said air defences need to be strengthened around Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, as Russia targets the surrounding region in a new offensive.
Zelensky told Antony Blinken, the United States secretary of state, that Ukraine needs at least two air defence batteries for the northeastern city, which is being pummelled by drone and missile strikes.
Speaking on an unannounced visit to Kyiv, the capital, Blinken said a new donation of American weapons had already started arriving in Ukraine, with more supplies on the way.

Come next week, Pres. Zelensky will be in office without election. Things must change or he will cease to be. Along with many other decrees, including peace negotiations with Russia, Pres. Zelensky made it a crime to film the conscription gangs and order the penalty be up to 8 years for the first offence. Pres. Zelensky has little support at home or abroad, except via US/UK and the puppet NATO countries .govs. You should spend some time looking up each country's favourability. It's 13% approval for UK .gov (cross party)

Kiev , since 1991 independence, have not maintained anything in Ukraine. The housing stock, roads, railways is, was, all crumbling, while politicians became rich. Zelensky it seems, sees this conflict as a "demolition" and refresh of the country, ideally financed by western partners, by selling the natural assets of Ukraine's agricultural lands and minerals to US companies. Zelensky has said as much. He is in talks with the big companies in USA for "partnerships" no doubt with himself. The idea being that Ukraine will be rebuilt by foreign money (sold) that Ukraine can never repay, lots of internal employment, and Zelensky becomes an icon like Banderas to Ukrainians. Of course there would US military "defence" bases alongside the biolabs. Russia saw this coming.
