Probation is an interesting choice of punishment for killing someone. To get it therapeutically, even in a medical clinic, you have to get clearance from a psychiatrist/psychologist because of the risks of bringing on psychotic episodes, a cardiac clearance because it can increase blood pressure and/or cause cardiac dysfunction, especially if the person is under stress, diabetic, or has hypertension, and blood tests because of the potential for organ damage.
