I'd see it more as Nas did pretty good. If you notice the lyricism and actual soul of the song are in the first two verses. Nas breaks in with "dime pieces" and "niggas"... don't know how to explain it, but the first two verses say something powerful, and the last verse sums up a career and single person. I like Nas, but that was a pretty empty verse.
