Welcome to bike life. I’d offer the advice of saving your money for some really good riding gear. It’s expensive, but it really saved my son’s hide when he went down on his bike. Also, the inflatable crash vests are a very good idea. If I’d had one in 1990, I might not have a titanium lower spine right now.

Ellie, never use a paper towel to clean your shield, use a clean mircofiber cloth/they scratch very easy.

My first street bike after many years riding dirt bikes was a Himalayan just like yours. I've since had a Interceptor, two Triumphs, and a Harley-Davidson XR1200. Get the RE handguards. They'll cut down the wind and reduce broken levers.

Looks like you are havin a ball on the bikes, thats awesome! You probably figgered this out already but if crack the visor to the first notch at slow speeds, really helps cool ya down. I have seen you over on SS and liked your attitude. I told shadetree that if ya'll ever wanted to do a moto campin vlog, you could use any of our fields. We're about 2.5-3 hrs away in Knox county Ky. Great job of vloging. I enjoyed your travel. Suggestion: Put a towel on the table or worksurface when you sit the helmet down,. It prevents the scratching of the finish and scratches on the face shield. If you bunch the towel it will prevent the helmet from rolling off the work surface. Ride safe!

Also, chin mount is awesome!! I use one!! But the glue is only rated to 93 deg.. i have spoke with chin mount about this. I have live streams where my go pro is falling off my helmet, because we had a month at like 105?? Seems to not give any real problems until close to 100. Use the teether they give you, i also use a little tape(gorrilla tape, same color as my helmet). You can order more teethers, and adhesive. It will still fall off with the tape, its just slower, and gives you more time to stop and fix the problem.

That was a cat meme I seen on IG the other day lol. Sounds like you had the stomach flu or stomach virus...either way it's never fun. How a ER can't figure that out inspires confidence......🤣. If that's what it was you just have to let it run its course. Drink lots of water. Eat light stuff like toast if you can. Sometimes a ear infection can cause lots of vomiting too. I was sick a lot as a kid is how I know. Which came in handy when I had my kids lol. I hope it was something simple and you're better now. Grats on moto vlogger status 😁. Good vid

I would’ve just let it run its course, but blood started coming up and Caroline was really worried about that so she drove me to the er. This has been happening to me off and on for almost two years now, I can’t keep anything down even water when it happens. It’s all good, it’s been happening less lately anyway!
