I always thought gun depression was the feeling you get when you first get a leopard tier 5 and realize the gun isn't as fun as it looked before you owned it. See also Gun anxiety - the feeling you get when you are tracked in front of a 152. Gun envy - when you are in a tier 5 light parked next to a BDR G1.

Phoenix Cow go spot using the speed, try to use a bush with access to heavy and medium flank. If not possible, if not try to find a bush to spot as many meds/lights without getting spotted(dont shoot if only 1 target, be patiente) and then shoot the tank with less armour or the enemy scouts and play the peek-a-boom game

Rohan Saxena T49 ATM, and WG released in-game the details you might need. No gun dispersion, and you guide your rockets by just looking in the direction you want it to go

I have a question, are American tanks bad side scrapers?... I've been trying to side scrape my T34 for forever and I've always gotten some pens... i know it's Not over-angling, as im maybe a few degrees angled...but then I'm always getting penned... I've also penned T34s when they're side scraping without prem ammo. Is it because of the weak side armor?... or the armor not being thick enough to be an effective side scraper?

Bob Dickens you got it bro, not enuff effective armor. Best bet with American tanks is to go hull down and only expose your turret...most are like shooting a rock wall. Enjoy the future bounces

Then you have 4202. Good depression, but no Turret armor. And what's more is it's upper Glacis has better armor than its' turret.

Well but looky here, the problem with going hull down with British tanks is there relatively weak turret armor, that goes the same for Japanese tanks. The Americans have much better turret armor and it is relatively difficult to pen the cupola. And then of course there's the cupola, which many times can be easily exposed

WarGaming should implement a system for premium tanks where you have to play at least 100 or something battles before you can purchase a premium tank so they can get the ropes and mechanics down at least slightly. Just an idea so don't spit toxicity at this comment plz :p

Nishank Rathod I like the speed and cammo of the t49. You cant hide or get to places quickly in the kv2. If you wanna ruin the day of any tankdestroyer, or drift like a mad man drive the 49. I haven't seen that many st1's e75's kv4's or t54-mod1's in mine. Your biggest threat is other t49's because of if they hit you nine times outa ten, they will ammorack you.

Velet Dinozor tortoise isnt cancer but it is weak armoured,good dpm and gun arc, and 183 is an occasionnal vehicle, there is no reason, good pen but very bad accuracy, sometimes works and sometimes doesnt

Isn't there also another definition of hull down?... its when a tank, mostly Germans and tanks with weak lower plates, keeps that weak point hidden behind an obstacle, like a mound, but doesn't need to use gun depression... or to stay in a ditch, hiding your lower plate?

Bob Dickens well, "hull-down" doesn't have a solid definition, but one of the best examples is something like a T30 only showing its turret, but hiding a lower plate or weak hull using ground level obstacles can include that

Jagdtiger is probably one of the most important tanks to know how to go hull down in. It's armour is pretty rubbish otherwise.
