Back in the day music inspired music scenes. The youth would go out & coalesce in venues where a sub-cultures were created. Boundaries pushed in fashion, music, make-up & social attitudes that freaked out the bourgeoisie. It was where the popular culture was gonna go next. All that’s gone now 🙄
