In the 80th episode this figure featured as one of the scary steps, but it's time it got its own blitz for the Modern Waltz.
The Natural Spin Turn in the Modern Waltz is very similar to that in the Quickstep, but we have to adapt the figure to fit the 1, 2, 3, nature of Modern Waltz, and appreciate that because there are no Natural Pivot Turns in Modern Waltz, the usual stepping stones to learning this figure are often missed in this rhythm. Not today though, in this video we shine a light on the Natural Spin Turn. We calm it down and make it a pleasure to dance on the social floor!
