A start. To our proper Chain of Command games, I may have got a bit over excited. I'm taking a Motorised Platoon not a Panzer division. Easy mistake to make though.

Great report and game Ken. That Stuka bombardment coming to a rather abrupt end really put a dampener on things! We've not managed to get a game of CoC in yet but from the many reports I've watched, I absolutely love the mechanics of the game :)

Couple of points: Covering fire will make your boys harder to hit and going Tactical will increase your cover by one level and they do stack. So a +1 to hit for covering fire. So instead of hitting on 456 at effective range now hitting on 56. And if you’re Tactical in open killing on 6 not 56 and shocking on 45 not 34. Big difference. Being in the Open is DEATH in COC. Don’t do it. 😉 Hand grenades won’t harm a tank! Forget using them against tanks. They a great in Hollywood but tiny little fragments of steel and wire will simply take some paint off a tank.

Tabletop CP Close combat is a crap shoot even in good circumstances. In this case ‘suicide’ springs to mind 😆

Hi, thanks for sharing your game. I have a question on the red die, to get it I thought you had to have 3 support units first, and understood that to be units that deploy, boots in the ground, not off board like pre game bombardment, adjutant or OBM etc?

Cheers, will need to have a look to check we do it right next time. Just had a look, needs 3 animate support choices, so Stuka, nuns and squad would count I think for the 3. Those that wouldn't are wire, or entrenchments etc.
