So Metallica did a cover of Blitzkrieg and Blitrkrieg did a cover of Metallica? So cool! \m/

Same with Metallica and Motörhead, and the Ramones (well, Dee Dee Ramone was the one who covered Jump in the Fire)

+Jevi Loko, What's cool is that during this time (1983) Metallica and Blitzkrieg sounded very similar (vocally), an if you listen to Metallica's cover of Blitzkrieg it sounds very similar to their version.

@@GabAssbreaker I listened to Sweet Savage’s EP briefly (I don’t know them well), and I think James’s style on early demos resembles Bltizkrieg’s vocalist’s style more. Some people also say that he tried to sound like Diamond Head’s Sean Harris.

@GabAssbreaker4 жыл бұрын
its more a case of both being influenced by each other, Metallica was obviously influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands like Blitzkrieg in their early years, and then Metallica get famous and got to influence all Metal bands around the world, even the bands that were older than them. Even Motorhead did some Metallica songs.
