The giant crane truck can lift the other vehicles and carry them back. It's why they have the ring on the top. That way when you need to go to another claim, you can take almost everything at once.

The big-boy truck also makes hunting for dino bones a lot easier, because the perspective's pulled back much further than the regular truck. Really, the hauler becomes your default vehicle after a while.

If you go to were you get the belts, you can get the logic saw. Then all you have to do is put the saw on a conveyor belt, then put a digit sensor on it. You can type in the weight that you need, and it automatically cuts it down to the size you need. It made doing all the quests really simple.(I didn’t have to cut everything by hand and weight it to verify).

If you're going to use the heavy drills and crusher you need to get the lava hauler since they're too big to hand carry. You also use it to grab these giant ice blocks with hooks you find around the map, take those down to the town in the south east part of the island to melt them into the items to give random bonuses to the things you forge. Also, do yourself a favor and get the conveyor saw and logic numberpad so you can cut bars/gems to the weight you want instead of cutting over and over and hoping you're close.

You can chisel the gems to split them in half! And after bars are heated it says what you’re holding in the bottom left hand corner

The sawhook attachment for conveyor belts helps in cutting bars and jewels in the right size. Also hold the "w" key and spacebar for 5 secondas while in the lava truck, it's funny.

If you have multiple weight of bars or ore. Make sure to deliver the biggest one first. They cant take the smaller ones so only the right one will work even if it is 10different bars of different weight.

Had you earned T12k you could have bought all the vehicles and used the big one to go back and forth carrying the others. Also, the lava bike can make the run in 1:11 or less and earn an achievement.
