Just a tip for the sweep orbital laser: Hit a little bit before your target, it takes some time to get to full power. If you land right on top of the target, the little starting bit will hit and do very little damage, and by the time it gets to full power, it will have swept away.

0:27 - no offense to blitz, they were probably paying through the nose to get him to talk about mech arena, but there is absolutely no skill gap, and while it is very expensive, it is ludicrously pay to win. The aim assist is one thing thar basically deletes any and all skill checks on any given kill, and given that most the player base are children, skill can be thrown entirely outthe window sometimes. Then others you'll find someone who spent ariund a grand to buy a bunch of crap WAY earlier than they should ever have access to it. And if that wasn't enough, the introduction of pilots allowed weapons like a lightning cannon that was supposed to be effective at shotgun range, shoot further than most of the rifles aside from snipers, or auto targeting missiles that get such a large damage boost that most mechs geared towards tanking, cant even survive one volley. Its still fun if you can find a few decent lobbies, but you have to grind like there's no tomorrow to even compete.
