i think manta transfers his passive now too so he can basically trigger it per hit. Not sure if that's true or not but people had been telling me to get manta if I go abadon but I'm sure it's just for the purge/dodge in case my shield is in cd as well as movespeed and attackspeed plus attack dmg

I think something that helped Abaddon become unstoppable in 7.35 with his 60+% winrate was Solar Crest being completely absurd giving Atk Speed, Movement Speed, Armor, and a Barrier for 8 seconds WITH A 0 MANA COST with mana costs being super important for him.

I had the same with razor when someone discovered how broken is shard was, I saw a clip of it very early and I spammed the living shit out of him for a week and had 66-23 in stats :D then I also got bored haha. First games I was getting reported for firstpicking him and rushing bloodstone )) then I 1vs5 them at min 18 :P

Blitz forgot to mention how broken his scepter is...like, forget abt carry harpoon abaddon, his scepter is where he shine the most. It directly counter a lot of carry such as juggernaut, faceless void, Tb, monkey, sniper etc. Only a few were not affected (PA khanda and Ursa) Drow as well, a well timed silence after Aba use his manta means you can bring down other hero. Everything else is useless against him, even a 6 slotted faceless void with refresher+rapier...cant handle offlane pos3 abba scept + refresher. Abba has become one of the most annoying hero to deal with at lategame. simply because his ult healing is way too broken (last too fking long as well...a whooping 9secs, and over 18secs with refresher, for your whole teammate.

Exactly. I don't think people even realize how heartbreaking it is to land some crazy ult like 5 man chrono just for abaddon to pop his ult with aghs and holy locket just so his team can leave the fight with more hp than they started with

@@interneth7644 and this is just counter against carry scenario...We have yet talk about countering blackhole, magnus ult, and several other long ult cooldown. As long as enemy do not have AA, Aba scepter with blink + refresher will ensure everyone survive wombo combo.

abaddon was pretty famous carry in dota1 wherein you can dive easily under enemy tower and get a hero kill. The aphotic shield absorb 400 damage back then and explodes the same amount. I think his attack speed, agi and armor was nerfed when he was first introduced in dota2. I tried really hard to incorporate his dota1 style in dota2 way back 2016 and it fails miserably. Only now that abaddon finds it success in the new meta.

2 aba skill is highly defensive. Shield and time. Curse needs 4 hits, dispellable. Disarm would destroy u, but even you build bkb, your curse is dispellable. Countered with ghost and force staff. But mistcoil is buffed a lot for aba. With shard it even carries instant attack. Mist and khanda is what makes aba shines. It hurts a lot when instant attack crit proc.

imo, abaddon now is that 1 hero that can fit easily to any of the 5 roles in the hand of a decent player. no need to be "good", even decent is enough; -good at laning. he's quite tanky being a universal ex-str hero. and he has shield skill. even that skill can be used to zone out enemies from last hitting (sometimes i just cast it to a dying creep just for fun lmao). not to mention once he gets his ultimate, you can be more bold at diving to towers. his passive (curse of avernus) is also fun, even when the stack isn't active yet, most enemies i encounter just got scared and retreat, and when they don't, that's a free harass from the curse. -has no "downtime" i feel like abaddon has no real "downtime". he doesn't really need to farm because most of the item he needs and wants are not that expensive. basically once you have boots (phase or power threads) and echo saber, you're good to go to engage to any midgame teamfights. once you have harpoon, you become an agressive tank-initiator that dive to the enemy formation and chase down those squishy backliners (support or squishy ranged carries). even without octarine, his ultimate cooldown is short enough for a prolonged fight with multiple engagements and re-engagements. and once you have manta, any hero that you can "lockdown" (chase or pull with harpoon and immediately silenced + slowed) will die in a flash. -ultimate for the whole team. buy agh scepter if you can, it's fun.

Abby was always best. Peps don't know how to play. You don't have to wait for 7.35 at all. Abby with talent +80 Damage on level 15 would close the gap along with you buying Mask Of Madness, Echo Sabre and Basher. Then, you become a killing machine. You don't have to play it as support, you have to play it offensive. Get farms, get kills, max out Avernus Blade and boom.

I agree most of the time in blitz video but dark seer wasn't the best counter for abaddon, it is shadow demon As you mention 3skill works with the illusion same as dark seer he 1st skill you, you can get instant slow, silence and damages overtime, yeah sure darkseer can make 1 illu but shadow demon ss with strong dispel you are f up
