I need to pull mine out of the boxes to inspect. I've been hesitant because I really don't want to have it out, exposed to dust and dirt. I want to get a nice case for it. But after seeing all the broken astronauts, after $300.00 shipping, I'm a little concerned.

I would check for sure. I'm getting its own display for it as well. A must since it's made of fabric. Hopefully you have no issues once you open it. Sideshow just told me they would give me full refund but I would have to destroy this statue!! I'm still debating on what to do. It's an amazing piece would be hard to destroy it.

Statue is basically with no issues at all. Great statue for sure. The new version they have would be a great option as well.

Damn. I’m sorry you had those unfixable issues dude. My base also has rubs and that same metal chest piece was broken on mine also. Fortunately I was able to glue that piece back on and it’s fine now. I did have issues with the clips that attach the tether to the loops. One of the loops broke. SS offered me a large credit to keep the piece so I’ve decided to take that offer and I’ll do the repair to that damage which isn’t much at all. Hopefully waitlist opens for you dude.

@@childoftheatom9030 whats up! yea the breakages can be worked on. Not a huge issue but the base for me was too much I though. how big are those rubs/issues on your base? will you fix them, repaint? they offered me too little in my opinion. $150.. i would have to hire someone to repaint them and that wont cover that at all. Dream piece for sure but should have better qa in my opinion.

Edwin Diaz the scratches in the base aren’t that bad. I’ll imagine they are from debris flying around the space station and they authenticate it more. As for the small damages I can repair them. I do agree it should have come flawless considering how long we waiting. A little bit of a sour taste but overtime I’m appreciating it more and more.
